2 To make a call using the keyboard, follow these steps: From any Home screen, tap Phone. 1. Enter the phone number. 2. Tap Call. Use the phone book To make a call from the phone book, follow these steps: 2. Tap Contacts. 3. Scroll to and tap the contact you want to call. 4. Tap the phone number you want to call. Use speed dial To make a call using speed dial, follow these steps: From any Home screen, tap Phone. 1. Touch and hold the speed dial number assigned to the contact you want to call. End call To end a call, tap End call. Hold call To put a call on hold, follow these steps: 1. Tap the Menu key. 2. Tap Hold. To resume, follow these steps: 1. Tap the Menu key 2. Tap Unhold. Mute and un-mute call To use mute during a call, follow these steps: Turn on 1. Tap the Mute (microphone) icon.

3 Turn off 1. Tap the Mute (microphone) icon again. Mute incoming ring To mute an incoming call's ring, follow this step: 1. Press the Volume key up or down. Use speakerphone To turn on the speakerphone, follow these steps: 1. Tap the Speaker icon. To turn off the speakerphone, follow these steps: 1. Tap the Speaker icon again. Caller ID Incoming ID Incoming caller ID shows information about incoming calls on the display screen. It automatically shows the caller's name and phone number if the contact is saved in your contact s list. When the caller s information is not saved, only the caller's phone number is displayed. Outgoing ID Enable To enable outgoing caller ID so people you call can see your number, follow these steps: 3. Tap Call. 4. Scroll to and tap Additional settings. 5. Tap Caller ID. 6. Tap Show number. Outgoing ID Restrict

4 To restrict outgoing caller ID so people you call cannot see your number, follow these steps: 3. Tap Call. 4. Scroll to and tap Additional settings. 5. Tap Caller ID. 6. Tap Hide number. Picture ID Set To assign a picture ID to a contact, follow these steps: Note: You can assign a picture ID to contacts stored on the phone but not to those stored on the SIM card. 2. Tap Contacts. 3. Scroll to and tap the desired contact. 4. Tap Edit. 5. Tap the Picture icon in the upper left corner. 6. Select one of the following options: o Gallery 1. Tap the desired album. 2. Navigate to and tap the desired photo. 3. Tap and drag to adjust the image area if desired. 4. Tap Save. 5. Tap Save again. o Camera 1. Frame the subject. 2. Tap the Shutter icon to take a picture. 3. Tap Done. 4. Tap Save. Ringer ID Set You can assign ringer ID to contacts stored in the phonebook, but not to those stored on the SIM card. To assign a ringer to a contact, follow these steps: 2. Tap Contacts. 3. Scroll to and tap the desired contact. 4. Tap Ringtone. 5. Tap the desired ringtone. 6. Tap OK.

5 Call Forwarding Cancel call forwarding Not supported We re sorry, but this feature is not available on this phone. Forward all calls (unconditional forwarding) Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring. To enable or disable unconditional call forwarding, follow these steps: Enable Note: The phone number for forwarding to voic is Tap Call. 4. Scroll to and tap Call forwarding. 5. Tap Always forward. 6. Enter the phone number you want to forward your calls to, or tap the Contact icon to select a phone number from your contacts list. 7. Tap Enable. Note: An icon will appear on your Status bar when call forwarding is enabled. 1. Disable 2. Tap the status bar and drag down. 3. Tap Disable. Forward some calls (conditional forwarding) Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number based on the status of your phone. By default, all calls are forwarded to voic ( ). To change the conditional call forwarding phone number, follow these steps: 3. Tap Call. 4. Scroll to and tap Call forwarding. 5. Tap one of the following options: o Forward when busy o Forward when unanswered o Forward when unreachable 6. Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to, or tap the Contact icon to select a phone number from your contacts list. 7. Tap Update.

6 Forward calls to voic (conditional forwarding) To turn on voic forwarding, follow these steps: 3. Tap Call. 4. Scroll to and tap Call forwarding. 5. Tap one of the following options: o Forward when busy o Forward when unanswered o Forward when unreachable 6. Enter Tap Update. Call Settings DTMF tones Your device can send a number to the network as dual tone multi-frequency (DTMF) tones. DTMF tones are used to communicate with automated systems that require you to type a number such as a code, password, or credit card number. While your phone can use DTMF tones (touch tones), there is no setting to turn them on or off. We re sorry, but disabling DTMF tones is not available on this phone. Fixed dialing Walmart Family Mobile does not support fixed dialing. To disable fixed dialing if you have enabled it, follow these steps: 3. Tap Call. 4. Tap Fixed dialing numbers. 5. Tap Disable FDN. 6. Enter your PIN2 code. o Note: Your default PIN2 code is Tap OK. Phone line selection Not available

Volume Ring To raise or lower the ringtone volume, follow these steps: 1. When not on a call, press the Volume key up or down to raise or lower the ringer volume. OR 3. Tap Sound. 4. Tap Volume. 5. Tap and drag the Ringtone slider left or right. 6. Tap OK. Call Timer This feature is not available. Call Waiting Turn on / off To turn call waiting on or off, follow these steps: 3. Tap Call. 4. Scroll to and tap Additional settings. 5. Tap Call waiting to enable or disable. Use To use call waiting, follow these steps:

8 1. When you hear a tone alerting you to a new incoming call, tap Answer. 2. Tap the holding call s phone number to switch between calls. Conference Calling Have private conversation To speak privately with one caller in a conference call and put the other callers on hold, follow these steps: Note: Private conversations are only possible between you and callers you have added to the conference call. You cannot have a private conversation with conference callers who were added by someone else. 1. While on a conference call, tap the Down Arrow next to the appropriate number. 2. Tap Private call. 3. Hold your private conversation. Start conference call To add additional callers to the conference, follow these steps: 1. While on a call, tap the Menu key. 2. Tap Add call. 3. Enter a contact's name or a phone number you want to call. 4. After the call connects, tap the Merge icon. Voice Commands This feature is not available. The device to which you are sending the file must be ready to receive files via Bluetooth. 1. Locate the file you want to transfer (for example, an image in the gallery.) 2. Tap the Share icon. 3. Tap Bluetooth. 4. If necessary, select the file you want to share. 5. If necessary, tap Next (#). 6. If necessary, turn on Bluetooth. 7. If necessary, tap Scan for devices. 8. Tap the Bluetooth device you want to share the file with. 9. If prompted on the other device, accept the transfer. 27 Device Hardware Battery / SIM Card Battery Charge If the battery level is below 25%, use the AC adapter instead of a car charger or USB cable. To charge the battery, follow these steps: 1. Insert the small end of the charging cable into the USB port on the left side of the device. 2. Insert the power adapter into a wall outlet or remove the adapter and plug the cable into a USB port on a computer. Battery Insert/remove To insert the battery, follow these steps: Insert 1. Remove the back cover by pulling apart at the notch located on the top edge of the phone.
