Now you can start exploring how it works through the momit Cool App and enjoying your new device. 8

momit Cool App 1. Start - Once you ve finished registering your device, you can start enjoying the momit Cool App. - The first screen you see is the main screen or control panel. This screen contains the main features of the App and allows you to manage all your devices and houses. - The screen is divided in two parts. The top refers to the houses you have registered and the bottom focuses on the registered devices management you have in that house. - At the top, you can browse the houses that you have registered to your account, sliding left and right with your finger (Example: Home, Beach House, Grandma s, etc.). If you want to register a new house, slide your finger across the screen until you reach the Add new house option. - In the upper left corner you can find the icon to unfold the side menu. - In the upper right corner you can find the temperature in your city at that time. By tapping here you can access a Weather Forecast all week. - Below your house s name you will see three icons: momit Cool, My Budget and Statistics. The information displayed at the bottom of the screen, depends on the tab you have selected out of one of these three options, but always refers to devices that you have registered in that house. - In the momit Cool tab, you will see all devices in the house, and can handle them independently. - In the upper left corner of this section you can find the momit Cool Power button. - In the upper right corner of this section you will see an icon with three vertical dots where you will be able to make adjustments to the device. - In the lower left corner you will see the profile in which the device is currently set. This will be explained in detail further on. - In the lower right corner you will see your programmed Schedules. - Profiles and Schedules work together, Profiles determine the temperature while Schedules set time frames. º 9

Geolocation 2. Houses In the top box you will see all the houses you have registered to your account (Example: Home, Beach House, Grandma s, etc.) and their location. By tapping on the house name you can see its current status, which includes: - Set Geolocation radius and house users position. You can modify or turn off Geolocation here. If the house s users are out of the set operating radius, all Pods will be switched off to avoid unnecessary costs and will go back on when one of the users is back inside the radius. - House device status. You will see the different rooms or spaces where you have a momit Cool inside your house. Here you can see the current temperature in each place and what Schedule and Profile settings each has. Above the house name, you will find an edit icon where you can edit the information in it. You can change the name, address, Geolocation radius and if you find necessary, delete the house. If you want to add a new house, slide your finger on the houses up to the last option and see the option Add new house. You ll have to perform the installation process from Product Registration step each time you add a new house and will need an additional Pods and momit Gateways. 10

3. Device To view each registered house s list of device, you must tap the momit Cool icon found in the navigation bar, just below the house name. You will be able to see them by sliding your finger over the momit Cool image to the left. This tab gives you access to the following: a. Add a new device You can have more than one Pod in your home. To add a new device, slide your finger on the momit Cool image to go through all the devices that you have registered in that house. The last option that appears is Add New Device. You ll have to perform the installation process from Product Registration each time you add a new momit Cool, however, you can connect it to your current momit Gateway. 11

b. Device settings Device settings give you access to the following: b.1. Edit device name b.2. Advanced settings Here you can modify the Hysteresis and temperature adjustments. Hysteresis: Refers to the difference between the current temperature (ambient) and target temperature (momit temperature), so that the air conditioner turns on or off. It is the margin assigned to the momit temperature so that it starts or stops operating. Two examples with a 0.5 hysteresis are: Heat Mode: The ambient temperature in your home is 18º and you want it to reach In this case, the air conditioner will remain on until it reaches After turning off at 21.5, it will turn on again when falling below 21,0º (0.5 C below the target temperature). Advanced settings Cooling Mode: The ambient temperature in your home is 22º and you want it to reach 18º. In this case the air conditioner will remain on until it reaches to 18º. After turning off at 18 it will turn on again when it rises up to 21.5 (0.5 C above the target temperature). Hysteresis can be set between 0.3 and 1.9. Temperature adjustment: As a consequence of disturbances, such as external heat sources, variations may occur in the temperature measurement. With this option you can adjust the temperature to counteract this effect. The temperature can be set between -9,9º and 9.9. b.3. Reconfigure commands You may need to reconfigure commands either because they were not set properly the first time or you have changed your air conditioner device. To do this, tap on this option and repeat step 4 (Commands Recording) in the installation process. b.4. Delete device 12

c. Device control c.1. Operating status You can view your momit Cool s operating status through the App. You will be able to distinguish these statuses by color changes that occur to the screen: - When the air conditioner is emitting air, the momit Cool image will be outlined in white. This will indicate that your air conditioner is either cooling or heating its current location. - If the Pod is in Standby, the background color will remain the same but the momit Cool image will lose the white outline and acquire a more transparent tone. This means that your air conditioner is not expelling air at the time; however, your Pod will still be on and execute the orders that you have programmed in your Schedule, or can respond to those you send manually. - When the Pod is off, the background will turn gray and the momit Cool image will lose the white outline. However, it will still show the current temperature. While in this status, momit Cool does not execute any orders until you turn it back on by tapping on the top left Power icon. - If the Pod loses connection, it will appear offline and will warn you so that you verify your Internet connection. If your air conditioner can expel cold and heat, your air conditioner s operating mode will be shown below the ambient temperature marked by momit Cool. To change the mode, you must tap on the one you want to operate with and it will replace the previous mode. If you only have one operating mode, either heat or cold, this control will not appear on your screen. Check your WiFi connection You can see momit Cool s battery status and the name you assigned to it above the momit Cool image. 13

December 2015 Billing day 5 December 2015 Billing day 5 < December 2015 Billing day 5 December 2015 Billing day c.2. Temperature The ambient temperature of Pod s location appears in the middle of the momit Cool image and the target temperature is shown in a small circle on the edge of the image of the Pod. December 2015 Billing day 5 December 2015 Billing day 5 The target temperature can either be indicated by a profile of your choice at a given time, programmed on a Schedule, or can be adapted by tapping on the up and down temperature arrows shown inside the momit Cool image The background color of the App screen will change depending on the ambient temperature detected by each device, following a color scale ranging from cooler to warmer colors which will give you an idea of the status of your home. The color scale used is as follows: December 2015 Billing day 5 > 28 December 2015 Billing day 5 Overnight, the background screen behaves the same but the tone will become darker in all instances. 14

c.3. Profiles To choose the temperature in an easier way, momit Cool includes the option of saving all your favorite temperatures and settings. Thus, if for example you prefer your air conditioner to run until your house is at a temperature of 21 º, simply create a profile with that temperature, and use it whenever you want, either by including it in your Schedule or independently. You can manage your profiles by tapping on the lower left corner. Here you will see the profile that is currently active, and if you tap on the icon you can access your profile list. By default, momit Cool comes with three profiles created for cold and three for heat, in addition to the No Profile option. Cold: Fresh (26º), Cool (25º), Super Cool (24º) Heat: Cozy (20º), Hot (22º), Super Hot (23º) Profiles are essential for creating a Schedule, as the temperature is introduced in this format into each time frames. For example, if at 4pm the temperature in your city is usually high, you can use a profile with a lower temperature in a Schedule time frame comprising those hours, so that your momit Cool automatically cools your home at that time. You can add as many profiles as you want to your Profile List. To create a new profile tap the plus sign (+)at the end of the Profile List. Then you must determine the following: Profile type: Cold or Heat Temperature: The target temperature you want to apply to this profile Color: This color will be used so you can easily recognize it on your Schedule Profile name: The name you wish to assign to this profile To edit a profile, tap on the edit icon located to the right of each profile in the list. You can also modify a profile if it is being applied at that time and decide to raise or lower the temperature by the arrows that are inside the momit Cool image. If you change the temperature manually, a Save Changes icon will appear in the lower left corner. If you tap on it, your profile will be updated with the changes you have made. If you don t tap on it, the profile will remain with the temperature which was already saved. 15

c.4. Schedule momit Cool uses the Schedule to program your air conditioner according to your habits and schedules. You can find the Schedule in the lower right corner. Here you can see the temperature and time of completion of an active time frame or when the next one will start. You can see all your programmed Schedules by tapping on the icon. Tapping on a Schedule will activate it, leaving it marked in blue. If you want to edit a Schedule you must tap on the edit icon that appears to the right of its name on the list. Each Schedule has a number of sections that hold a profile and its start and end times. You can create all the profiles you want for a Schedule and adding them is as simple as tapping on New Calendar and completing the information in which you have to determine the start and end time of the profile and the days in which it will be applied. Each Schedule has a graph that shows you the time frames each day of the week contains. Tapping on a specific time frame allows you to edit it. To add a new Schedule tap the plus sign (+), add all the time frames you wish and give them a name before saving. If you do not want to have a selected Schedule, you can choose the No Schedule option. In this option, you can decide when to turn on or off the air conditioner without a programmed time frame. Every time you decide to raise or lower the temperature, your momit Cool will be on for up to 12 hours, in case you forget to turn it off. You can modify the off time at all times by tapping on the edit icon beside No Schedule. Schedule name 16

4. My Budget* My Budget is the function which allows you determine how much you want to spend on air conditioning. To use it, we need to have a set of data about your house and all devices that are running on an assigned Schedule. Otherwise we cannot predict your expenses. My Budget settings 1. Tap the My Budget tab, which is under your house s name with this icon. If this is the first time you re entering, you will need to complete the installation details by tapping Start. 2. Enter your air conditioner s power capacity. This can be found in its manual, on the sticker that comes on it or by doing an Internet search by entering the model information. Set power consumption consumption Energy consumption This information can be found on your energy bill or on your energy provider s website It looks like it s your fist time looking at My Budget. Before we begin, we need to setup a few things. 17

Billing period Monthly Weekly Beginning of billing period December 2015 Billing Day 5 First of every month Household s inertia data calculation Current spending Estimated Type of hired rate Without time discrimination (2.0A) With time discrimination (2.0A) Elapsed time: 48h Calculate household s A/C effect Elapsed time: 48h Your goal Calculate anomalies in the temperature Elapsed time: 48h How much do you want to spend this month? Make predictions Elapsed time: 48h 3. Then determine the billing period: monthly or weekly. 4. Subsequently choose the day in which the billing period begins: If you chose the monthly option you can choose the day of the month (1-31) and if you choose the weekly option you can choose the day of week (Monday - Sunday). 5. Choose the type of rate you currently have hired: with or without time discrimination. Some utilities have schedules in which the kw has a higher or lower price. If that is your case, your rate has time discrimination. If your rate has no time discrimination, you must enter the price you pay for the kw consumed. If your rate has time discrimination, you must enter the different prices charged and their hours. To do this, you must complete the form with the different sections that make up your billing invoice. For each section you will have to complete: - The type of consumption: Peak or valley. A peak period is a period of increased consumption, usually more expensive and usually applied in business hours. A valley is one with a lower consumption at night time until dawn. - The price per kw: You can find this information on your energy bill or on you power company s website. - The start and end time in which that price applies. 6. Enter all time frames and their corresponding prices, considering that you cannot leave hours a day without an assigned price, or hours with more than one price. Once this is complete, My Budget performs a series of calculations related to your home to get an estimate as accurately as possible. These calculations will be streamlined if you use your air conditioner the way you normally do. Having made these calculations, you will be able to see the My Budget main screen, consisting of several parts. At the top you will find a Pause icon, which is displayed when you set a spending target. Tapping on this icon you can pause My Budget, in case you want to stop using it. Other than the Pause icon, you will find the billing day and the invoice date (month or week of the year), and a drop-down menu with options that include Edit Installation Data which take you back to fill in the details of your house. This can be useful in case of changing the electricity rate or changing one of your air conditioners. In the middle, you will find the graph showing your current, estimate and target spending. Right after, you will find the control to manage your spending target. In this control you can tap the arrow back and forth so that, based on the estimated spending, you establish a spending target for the period. 18

Following a change in the spending target, we will notify you about the changes that need to be made to achieve that goal. In this notice you will be able to see the temperature reduction that will occur, in what time frames, and the Schedules that will be affected. To apply these changes we will need your confirmation, no changes will be made without your prior approval. At the bottom of the screen you will see two tabs. The left, Consumption per device, will show the different devices in your house and the amount of consumption they are accountable for over the total house consumption. To adjust your spending, My Budget needs to decrease the temperature by 2º. This will modify the Default, Special and Weekdays Schedules in all your houses. On the right side is the Save money tab, which will give you tips to improve the use of your system and optimize your consumption. My Budget is reflected on the main screen of the App with a series of warning messages that will let you know about your consumption and how your spending target progresses. 19 * My Budget does not count progressive tax. Please use this as a stadistical reference of the amount of Kw consumed.

5. Statistics Tapping on this tab will give you a summary of the device status. You can browse statistics for the different devices by sliding the screen to the left. Tapping on each of the sections (Temperature, Humidity and Consumption), will give you more detailed statistics. To view the graphs, you must put your mobile device horizontally. a.
