HAZWOPER training Radiological Safety Training and Nuclear Gauge Operation Experience: Over twenty-eight years experience as an engineer. Registered Professional Engineer in South Carolina & North Carolina. Duties include material testing, quality assurance, training field and lab technicians, and soil, concrete and asphalt testing. Project experience includes serving as the Quality Control Civil Lab Manager at V.C. Summer Nuclear Station in Jenkinsville, SC from 1973 to Duties included developing technical procedures for lab and field testing, calibration of lab and field equipment and training and certification of lab and field technicians. Also served as Internal Auditor for Microfilm Documentation Section. Other project experience includes the World Trade Center (New York City, NY), Ludington Pump Storage Plant Laboratory Supervisor (Ludington, Michigan), Eastman Kodak Company (Columbia, SC), and Dupont Inc. Experience includes planning and coordinating geotechnical explorations for projects ranging from industrial facilities to major roadway projects. Also designing civil engineering projects with geosynthetics including industrial landfills and enclosures, and providing technical assistance on construction projects. Nine years experience at the SCDOT Research and Materials Laboratory as a Geotechnical Engineer. Responsibilities included supervising soils department, geotechnical testing, and pavement evaluation. Twenty years experience in the geotextile industry, supervising an integrated technical support and development effort for the Geotechnical Fabric Group.
