Avi Barrot of FY B.Com. was the captain of the team. He has represented India under 19 at Australia. ATHELETICS Bandish Vaz and Jaideep Patel were selected for the Gujarat University Inter Zone Atheletic Meet. Jaideep Patel was winner in High Jump and represented Gujarat University. BEST PHYSIQUE Kaushal Mehta of M.Com. stood first in his category for best physique Inter College and Inter Zone competition. He represented Gujarat University. SWIMMING Inter-college Swimming Championship Darshana Nair - 2 Silver Medals
5 Nishad Sheth - 1 Gold Medal, 2 Silver Medals Nishad Sheth is also selected for University Water- polo Team DARSHANA NAIR and NISHAD SHETH have always brought laurels to the college, the college is proud to have them Achievements Football The College Football team was the Ahmedabad Champion at Gujarat s biggest sporting extravaganza, Khel Mahakumbh and won prizes wirth Rs The same team was also the semifinalist at the intercollegiate competition. Two of our players, Manish Suryawanshi and Jignesh Dagla were selected for the Inter-versity West Zone Tournament. Cricket The College Cricket team was the finalist at the intercollegiate and was runners up in the Chimanbhai Inter College Tournament. Naman Shah, Kadam Shah, Amit Vaghela and Pranjal Sutharia were selected for the Inter-versity West Zone Tournament. Avi Barot from the college played for the Ranji Trophy and was selected as The Best Player of India in the U-19 Category. He also captained the U-22 team and won the All India Championship. The wicketkeeper-batsman of the Gujarat team will share the stage with legends like Dravid and Wadekar at the BCCI Annual Awards. He will also receive the MA Chidambaram Trophy and Rs for his feat. Jay Patel, Neel Patel and Dhruv Thakar played for the Gujarat U-22 team at the CK Nayudu Tournament. Volleyball RJTCC Girls Volleyball Team won the Ahmedabad District Swarnim Gujarat Cluster Tournament. The team was also the Runners up in Ahmedabad district and quarterfinalist at the Intercollegiate. Amita Kadia and Kinjal Shinol represented Gujarat University at the All India Interversity South Zone Tournament. Gauri Makwana and Vishwa Acharya represented Ahmedabad at the State Volleyball Championship held at Vadodara. Other Sport(ing) People Abhishek Babu represented Gujarat University at the All India West Zone Athletic Meet. He also stood first in 100 metres at Khel Mahakumbh. Umang Dwivedi and Nishan Thakkar stood third in the Intercollegiate Chess tournament. Pathan Tikramkham was selected for the Republic Day Parade at New Delhi. Kaushal Mehta was adjudged for the Best Physique at Ahmedabad Zone and Interzonal Competition and also represented Gujarat University.
