2 Mission The mission of The Office of Graduate Studies is to empower graduate programs at the College of Medicine to recruit, educate and train the best students to be the next generation of leaders in biomedical science, and any other endeavor that would benefit from a rigorous scientific background, including education, law, journalism, and homeland security. 2

Students receive: A monthly stipend $23,028 per year Tuition is paid by their program or their mentor $13,940 per year $3,210 per year post-comprehensive examination Health Insurance For student 80% paid by Penn State - $1, (Student pays $460.40) For student s family 70% paid for by Penn State - $9, (Student pays $3,574.10) Vision, Dental Insurance also available Same 80%/70% premium payments 14 Stipend, tuition Insurance
