2 WARNING This cab is designed to provide foul weather protection only. It does not provide protection from noise, exhaust fumes, chemicals or injury from collision, or other accidents. 1. Do not operate machine in confined areas without proper ventilation 2. Thoroughly check area of operation before using the machine 3. The cab adds height to the machine. Low tree limbs and other overhead structures that did not interfere with the operation of the machine before, may now be obstacles MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS Periodically check all bolts to see that they are tight. If bolts become loose, failure of cab parts may occur. Door latches and hinges should be lubricated with light machine oil for proper operation. DO NOT CLEAN THE CLEAR PLASTIC WINDOWS WHEN THE PLASTIC IS DRY. THE CLEAR PLASTIC WILL SCRATCH. Avoid contact with plastic windows. Keep plastic windows clean by washing them with clear running water and rubbing with your bare hands, only. The use of a rag, sponge or brush will scratch the plastic. Liquid soap may also be used for window cleaning. During freezing weather, an automotive windshield washer solvent may be used. Use liquid soap and water to clean colored vinyl portions. Scrubbing with a brush or rag is also permitted on the colored vinyl portions TRANSPORTATION Do not transport the cab equipped tractor on an open truck or trailer at highway speeds without first removing the vinyl panels. Failure to do so may result in lost or damaged parts. STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS Prior to storage clean the windows and colored vinyl parts with a mild automotive detergent, rinse with clean water and allow to thoroughly dry, Store cab in a clean dry place out of direct sunlight. Avoid folding plastic windows. READ THIS MANUAL COMPLETELY BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION. The right side of the machine is determined from the operators seated position. The words bolt will refer to a 1/4 x5/8 bolt and nut will refer to a 1/4 locknut. Do not tighten bolts during assembly unless instructed to do so. Park tractor on level ground, lower attachments to ground, remove start key. 2

6 NOTE: On loader equipped tractors use the existing bolts and re-torque to factory specifications. On tractors without loaders use the right and left Non-Loader Spacers and the M16 x 90mm bolts with lock washers. 1 Step 2; See Figure 2A,B&C: Install right and left Front Panel Legs (1 &2) A. Remove the bolts at reference A. Place the right Front Panel Leg over the holes and replace the bolts. Thread them most of the way in but do not tighten at this time. B. 7 Step 3; See Figure 3: Install ROPS Bracket (8) and ROPS Clamps (9) 9 A. Place Clamps over the top of the ROPS bar. Insert two 1/4 x 4 bolts to the rear through the tabs welded to the ROPS Bracket cross bar. B. Center the assembly on the ROPS. Thread the bolts down but do not tighten at this time. 8 Front Figure 3 Adhesive Weather Seal Step 4; See Figure 4: Install Windshield assembly (5) A. Insert the square tubes on the windshield into the Front Panel Legs as shown. Make sure that the holes in the tubes are aligned. B. Place a strip of foam weather seal on the top edge of the windshield as indicated. 5 Figure 4 7

8 Step 5; See Figure 5: Install right and left Lower Windows (6 & 7) A. Place the right Lower Window in position as shown. Insert two bolts down through the holes and slots. Add 1/4 flat washers and locknuts. Thread the nuts down. Do not tighten at this time. 6 B. Place a 1/4 flat washer over a 1/4 x 1 3/4 bolt and insert it inwards through the upper hole in the Front Panel Leg and then the slot in the window. Add a 1/4 flat washer and locknut. Thread the nut down. Do not tighten at this time. Step 6; See Figure 6: Install the Top Frame (10) Figure 5 A. Place the Top Frame in position as shown. Insert four bolts upwards through the four front holes. Add locknuts and thread the nuts down. Do not tighten at this time. 10 B. Insert two 3/8 bolts upwards through the ends of the ROPS Bracket cross bar, and then the tabs welded to the Top Frame. Place 3/8 flat washers over the bolts. Add 3/8 locknuts. Thread the nuts down. Do not tighten at this time. Figure 6 Step 7; See Figure 7: Install Rear Post Bracket (11) A. Place the tabs welded to the Rear Post Bracket on the outside of the tabs welded to the ROPS bar. Place a 5/16 fender washer over two 5/16 x 1 1/4 bolts. Insert them outwards through the slots and holes. 11 B. Add another fender washer and a 5/16 locknut. Thread the nuts down. Do not tighten at this time. Figure 7 8

9 Step 8; See Figure 8: Install right and left Rear Posts (12 & 13) and Rear Curtain Stay (14) Note: When Rear posts are properly installed latch plates will be to the front with the notch to the outside of the enclosure. 12 A. Insert a bolt upwards through the upper (bent) end of the right post. Add a nut and thread it down. Do not tighten at this time. 13 B. Use a 1/4 x 3/4 bolt inserted out through the lower end of the Post, the slot in the Rear Post Bracket and then the Rear Curtain Stay. Add a nut and thread it down. Do not tighten at this time. C. Repeat the previous step on the left side. 14 Step 9; See Figure 9: Install the Doors for frame / door alignment. Install 5/8 adhesive hook fastener Figure 8 A. Follow the instructions in the Door Hardware Package to install the Door Bottoms and the Door Latches. B. Install, close and latch both Doors. C. Tighten all bolts from previous steps at this time including the Hinge bolts. D. Cut strips of 5/8 adhesive hook fastener to match the loop fastener sewn to the door flap. Thoroughly clean the surfaces where the fastener will be applied. Peel the backing off and stick it to the inside edge of the Windshield and front Panel Leg. E. Remove the doors by opening them and lifting the door up and out of the bottom hinge then lowering out of the top hinge. F. Place a plastic protector over the bent ends of each rear post (see inset). 10 Step 10; See Figure 10: Install Rear Curtain (21). A. Close the snap flaps around the top frame at the back and corners. B. Close the snap flaps over the rear posts and Rear Curtain Stays. 21 C. Wrap the hook and loop tabs around the Rear Post Bracket Figure 10 Step 11; See Figure 11: Install 1 Adhesive Hook Fastener for Front Panel Vinyl installation. 20 A. Thoroughly clean the surfaces where the fastener will be applied. B. Cut 1 Fastener to the lengths indicated. Peel the backing off and carefully apply to the areas indicated. 18 Figure 11 51/2 10

11 Step 12; See Figure 12A, B, & C: Install Front Panel Vinyl (20) A. Start at the bottom of the Windshield between the Lower Windows and connect the hook and loop fastener. Connect the vinyl to the sides and bottom of the Windows. B. Wrap the tab at the bottom of the Front Panel Vinyl around the bottom of the Front Panel Leg and connect it. C. Note where the loop fastener is sewn to the vinyl against the dash. Clean this area and apply 1 adhesive hook fastener to correspond with the pieces sewn to the vinyl. 20 Figure 12A Figure 12B Figure 12C 11

12 Step 13; See Figure 13: Install the Doors and Top (21). 21 A. Install doors and connect the hook and loop fastener strips on the lower door & front panel and the door flaps on the inside. B. Place four 1/4 flat washers over each of four bolts. Insert bolts inwards, add locknuts and tighten. C. Install the Windshield Wiper per the directions in the wiper hardware package.
