3 GENERAL UNIT SECTIONS WITH ADDITIONAL BOXES, ADDITIONAL PARTS OR TRANSPORT SAFETY DEVICES INSIDE ARE SPECIALY MARKED! Before section assembly, it is necessary to: Prepare necessary tools for assembly : Electric screwdriver, drill Holder for bits/sockets Sockets, sizes 8, 10 Slotted head screw bits, sizes 2, 3 Open-ended spanners sizes 8, 13, 17 Screw drivers Hexagon socket size 6 Tensioning belts or suitable hoisting device Remove the transportation devices and protective foil from all sections; Pull out all boxes with additional parts (if delivered separately) and assembly kit. Assembly kit is placed in a box in one of delivered sections, usually in fan section; Mount dampers and flexible connections (if delivered separately for transport reasons); Remove all auxiliary brackets (if any) used to protect unit components during transportation Put the unit down from the wooden pallet or wooden supports used during transportation; Remove all other suspension elements used for transportation and unloading operations; Place the unit sections in the location envisaged, following the instructions relating to the position of individual sections within the entire unit (applies to units supplied in several modules) according to the assembly plan affixed to each section. ASSEMBLY KIT Unit sections should be assembled using the tools supplied in a box. The assembly kit may be found in one of the unit modules, usually in the fan unit module. The scope of assembly kit parts delivery depends on type of installation and may vary depending of unit installation type. The pictures shown here are illustrations. 4 STEP 1 SEALING If the unit is supplied in more than one piece (section), one side of all unit section joints must be covered with sealing strip (see the illustration below). When assembling unit sections, size KU 1 KU 6, the strip is to be placed on the aluminium profile longitudinally over the entire cross-section of the unit, as close as possible to the outer side of the profile. When assembling unit sections, size KU 7 KU 24, the strip is to be placed in two layers one closer to the outer and another closer to the inner side of the aluminium profile. STEP 2 UNIT POSITIONING, SHIMMING AND LEVELLING SEALING Each unit section is to be placed in a corresponding location in the engine-room (according to the unit assembly plan) or any other location as may be specified by the design. 5 STEP 3 ASSEMBLY OF SECTIONS TRIANGLE PIPE INLET Detail B E D C D E D J D C - In case when the screw is too long, the additional nut should be install on the screw head side. (Detail B). - Two to tree bolted joints in each point where sections are asembled must have a star-like washer. STEP 3A FLOOR CONECTION (ONLY HYGIENIC UNIT) F Join floor profiles with metal strip and bolts (F) Paste a sealing strip here! K - Paste a sealing strip on the metal profiles and insert a protection coverings. - After installation you must fill the outside gaps between protection coverings and aluminium profiles with sealing material (K)

6 STEP 4 ROOF ASSEMBLY (OUTDOOR UNIT INSTALLATION ONLY) F - Install omega roof profiles according to attached drawing and fasten with bolts (F), spread 400 mm between each bolt. H G - Install all parts of the roof according to attached drawing, fasten with bolts with rubber insert (G) - Cover with plastic coverings (H). I K - Roof connecting metal sheets joints should be protected with protection profile. Connection profile should be putted on roof joins. - Make holes spreaded aprox. 400 mm between each other and put rivets (I). - After connection, front join should be sealed with sealing material (K).

7 STEP 5 - SIPHON MOUNTING During the operation of the unit condensate is generated on the air cooler unit, twin-coil and multi-plate recuperator, which is then collected in adequate containers (drain pans). Condensate drainage from the unit is performed by means of a siphon of a corresponding height, depending on overpressure or rather subatmospheric pressure at the point of connection. - with over pressure at mounting location: H1=30 mm, - with under pressure at mounting location: H1= p + 30 mm, H2= p + 30 mm H2= p / mm where p - means medium pressure at the mounting location in [mm WC] (1 mm WC = 10 Pa) The nominal size φd of the siphon is determined according to the following table: Unit size φ D KU 1 KU 6 1 " KU 7 KU 12 1 ¼ " KU 13 KU 24 1 ½ " METHOD OF CONNECTING A SIPHON TO THE UNIT UNIT OUTLET SIPHON FILLING FREE DISCHARGE DRAIN NOTE : The end of the drain pipe must be open above the free discharge drain. A siphon must be mounted for every drip pan in the unit. Due to pressure differences in individual unit components it is not allowed to connect several condensate drains to one siphon. Before unit start up the siphon is to be filled with water. In case that siphon water may be frozen, the siphon must be thermally insulated or rather with an adequate siphon heater fitted.
