3 How to log into the Store Master s admin area General Options There are two ways to log into the Store Master s admin area: 1. From the ResellersPanel Control Panel: visit the Store Master Overview section and click on the Admin Area Login button in the top right corner. 2. Directly from your store: go to the following URL - yourstore.com/ store-admin / and enter your username and password. 3

4 How to publish the changes that you've made to the theme: If not published, any changes you've made will be visible only to you and only when you are logged into the admin area. To publish the changes, simply click on the Publish button on the right-hand side. Your changes will go live instantly. At any moment, you can roll back using the Restore Previous option. How to clear your store's cache To clear your store's cache, use the Clear cache and log out button in the Store Master's admin area. This will effectively clear your store's cache from our system - all the changes that you've made to your store, including the offered services and prices, will be reflected online immediately. This option is similar to the Quick template update functionality offered by our legacy templates. 4

5 How to restore a modified page You can easily restore a page to its default state or to a previous revision. To do this, simply navigate to the page and click on the Restore Previous menu in the admin area. In there, you will see a list of all the changes that you have made to your store ordered by date and time. With any of those revisions, you can preview how exactly the page looked like at the given moment. When you are ready with your revision selection, click on the Restore Current Page button and our system will restore the page to its previous state. 5

6 How to select a color theme Layout Controls To change your hosting store s color scheme, go to the Customize Template section in the admin panel. The Template tab will show you all the available color schemes. Once you pick one, it will be instantly applied and you can see how your store looks like with the new color scheme in the preview area on the right. How to select your store layout The Store Master theme has 3 different layouts - a layout without a sidebar, a layout with a sidebar on the left and a layout with a sidebar on the right. 6

7 You can change your store s layout from the the Store Layout menu in the Customize Template section. Simply select the preferred store layout from the drop-down menu. You will instantly see a preview of how your website looks like. How to organize the page layout Navigate to the page you want to edit and select the Organize Page Layout option. You will see all the page elements - you can now move them up or down by simply dragging and dropping them. Once you are done, simply click the X next to the Organize Page Layout option to go back. 7

8 How to organize the main menu Go to the Organize Pages section. You will see the 6 pages which are featured in the top navigation menu. You can rearrange them, change the featured pages or remove them from the menu. How to organize the site map If you go to the Organize Sitemap section, you will be able to change the entire page structure of your website. You will be able to move different pages up and down in the hierarchy, to hide different pages from the menu, to add new pages, etc. To view the pages in each category, click on the icon to the left. This will expand the parent page and all child pages. You can then move the pages from one hierarchy level to the next. 8

9 How to edit the footer To modify the footer, simply go to the Edit Footer menu in the admin panel. In there, you will see the existing pages linked in the footer. You can rearrange them using drag-and-drop actions; you can remove or add pages with just a click, etc. 9

10 How to edit metadata Content Controls Navigate to the page you want to edit and select the Edit Metadata option. A new popup will open, from where you will be able to change the meta information for this page. 10

11 How to edit page content The Store Master theme allows you to modify the content for any element on any page. To do that, simply navigate to the page you want to modify, scroll down to where you want to make changes and hover over the specified box. You will see an Edit icon - click on it and a popup will appear, allowing you to change the text, the title and the subtitle of each box. You will also be able to pick the image position (on the left or on the right side of the text) and select whether the box should have a separator at the top. 11

12 How to select the top service Marketing Controls To choose the top service (the service which will be promoted on the home page of your website) for your store, go to the Customize Template section and pick the Top Service option. You will be able to choose a service and to instantly preview the changes to your website in the preview area on the right. How to customize the promo area's width The Store Master theme offers two types of promo areas - the first one has a fixed width of 1000px, while the second one is as wide as the browser window itself. The width of the promo area is also reflected in the main menu and the footer. To choose a fixed or a browser-wide promo area, go to the Customize Template section in the admin panel and look for the Short/Wide Menu/Banners option. From there, with a simple click you can switch between the two layout options. The changes can be seen in the preview area on the right. 12

13 How to customize the promo area's layout To customize the promo banners for your template, go to the Customize Template section and pick Select Banner Views. Once inside, you will be able to choose the type of banner that will be shown on the dedicated plan pages or on the main service pages; you will be able to customize the domain name banner and to choose how many TLDs will be shown; you will be able to modify the style of the plan boxes available in the promo banners, etc. All the changes will be displayed instantly in the preview area on the right. How to add custom links To add a custom link, go to the Manage remote links. In there, you will be able to add new links or manage the pages you have already added. You can later add them to your website from the Organize Sitemap section 13

14 How to setup Google Analytics To setup Google Analytics tracking for your store, go to Advanced tools and click on Google Analytics. Inside, you will have to click on Enable and paste the tracking code provided by Google in the respective field. Make sure you paste the code entirely, as provided by Google, without any modifications, including the <script> tags. 14

15 How to upload a logo Branding Controls To set a logo for your template, go to the Customize Template section in the admin area and choose Logo Type. From there, you will be able to pick the type of the logo, to upload an image, to set a flash animation, etc. For images, the max resolution is 1000x180 px. Images files must be under 1 MB. Supported file types:.gif,.jpg,.png. For flash animations, the resolution is 1000x180 px. Flash files must be under 3 MB. Supported file types:.swf,.swc For custom HTML, the allowed tags are: h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, p, a, div, img, br, small, strong, span, sub, sup, em, b, i, u 15

16 How to upload a favicon Go to the Customize Template section in the admin area and choose Favicon Upload. After that, simply upload the icon you have chosen and you are done. Max image resolution - 16x16 px. Max file size - 64 KB. Supported file extensions -.gif,.jpg,.png,.ico. How to select a font To specify a custom font for your website, go to the Customize Template section and choose Base Font-Family. In there, you have multiple choices: - you can pick between the fonts that we have selected for our theme. These fonts are guaranteed to work properly on all pages. - choose any font from the Google Fonts library. 16

17 - specify a custom font and a generic type-face. The custom font will function properly only if your website visitors have it installed. Otherwise, the generic type-face will be used. - upload a custom font file. You can upload a font or many fonts of your choosing to be used on your website. Have in mind that you have to own the fonts that you are using. For custom font files, the max size per font is 1 MB. We support the following file types:.eot,.ttf,.svg,.woff,.otf The changes to your website will be displayed instantly in the preview area on the right. How to edit the contact details To edit the contact details, go to Edit Contacts. From there you can choose which phone numbers to appear on your website, whether or not to display your address, etc. You can even enter a custom phone number. 17
