There is also an newsletter sign up and a listing of upcoming events. You can login with your username and password, receive a password reminder or register yourself as a user of a corporate account. Sign up to our free newsletter bulletin to receive editor s picks of the top stories and essential updates direct to your inbox. Allows you to access our fully searchable archive, using keywords and phrases. With our new Tracked Topic function you can set up search alerts so you can be notified when a new story is published in your area of interest. You can manage your account and change your search alerts by logging in and clicking on My Account. Allows you to pick and choose information to build your own custom news feed, specific to your individual area of interest. Follow EU Food Law on Twitter and join our EU Food Law group on LinkedIn. 3 Registration and Login EU Food Law will prompt you to log in when you access our articles. When prompted, enter your username and password where indicated. Alternatively, you can click Log in at the top right of your screen at the start of your session and follow the process previously described. If you have forgotten your details click on the forgotten your details link and enter your address. Your password will be ed to you. If you are having problems logging in please or call HINT By ticking the Keep me logged in option, a cookie will be saved on your computer, so you no longer have to add your details each time you log in. If accessing eurofoodlaw.com from a different location, you will have to re-enter your login details.

4 Alerts Editor s Picks s Tick this box to receive alerts of the most important news. Visit My Account and click on Alert Subscriptions to set this up.

5 My Account - Tracked Topics When browsing content on eurofoodlaw.com there are two simple ways in which you can set up your search alerts. When reading an article The key criteria of the article are tagged in the Track Your Topic box on the right hand side of the article. Specify the frequency and the maximum number of articles you wish to receive. Click Set up alert. When using the search function The search criteria come up in the Track Your Topic box. Specify the frequency and number of articles you wish to receive. Click Set up alert. Tick the criteria topics you wish to track. If you tick more than one your results will come from articles that match both categories only. To manage the alerts you have set up: Select Manage your topic alerts from the Track Your Topic box. You can now delete or disable your alerts, by un-ticking your selections and hitting submit.

7 Search Functionality Type in your keywords into the search bar on the top right hand side of the screen for a list of related articles. You can then filter the articles by date, practice area/topic and content type.

8 Advanced Search Functionality If you can t find what you are looking for with our keyword search, you can use the Advanced Search options. HINT After searching, you can filter the results by date range, relevance, practice area, and content type. Simply click on the filters on the left hand side. Here you can search for exact words, in key areas, with specific time frame and other specific criteria. Click on the Advanced Search link to narrow searches using All key words Exact wording Filter by Area Any of selected key words Exclude certain key words Within a date range Search article or title

9 RSS Feed An RSS feed allows you to pick and choose information from different sites to build your own custom news feed, specific to your individual area of interest. To set up an RSS feed: 1. Click on the RSS button at the top right of the screen. 2. Click on name of the relevant feed from the list available. 3. Copy the exact web address (URL) of the page and paste it into your reader and the feed will be added. For example &getXmlFeed=true&view=default
