2 Overview From the homepage you can navigate around the site easily and access the following pages: Home Log in Resources About us News stories PDF download Advanced Search Search Alerts Manage your account RSS Feeds Contact Us View the latest headlines and download the PDF issue. There is also access to the latest financial regulation news stories, an newsletter sign up and a listing of upcoming events. Log in with your username and password, receive a password reminder or register yourself as a user of a corporate account. Access the PDF issues in our Resources section. Allows you to access our fully searchable archive, using keywords and phrases. With our new Topic Alerts function you can set up search alerts to notify you when a new story is published in your area of interest. Manage your account and change your search alerts by logging in and clicking on My Account. Pick and choose information to build your own custom news feed, specific to your individual area of interest. 3 Registration and Log in Financial Regulation International will prompt you to log in when you access our articles. When prompted, enter your username and password where indicated. Alternatively, you can click Log in at the top right of your screen at the start of your session and follow the process previously described. If you have forgotten your details click on the Have you forgotten your details link and enter your address. Your password will be ed to you. If you are having problems logging in, please or call. HINT By ticking the Keep me logged in option, a cookie will be saved on your computer, so you no longer have to enter your details each time you log in. If accessing financialregulationintl.com from a different location, you will have to re-enter your login details.

4 My Account Topic Alerts When browsing content on financialregulationintl.com there are two simple ways in which you can set up your search alerts. When reading an article The key criteria of the article are tagged in the Topic Alerts box on the right hand side of the article. Specify the frequency and the maximum number of articles you wish to receive. Click Set up alert. When using the search function The search criteria come up in the Topic Alerts box. Specify the frequency and number of articles you wish to receive. Click Set up alert. Tick the criteria topics you wish to track. If you tick more than one your results will come from articles that match both categories only. To manage the alerts you have set up: Select Manage topic alerts from the Topic Alerts box. You can now delete or disable your alerts, by un-ticking your selections and hitting update.

6 Search Functionality Type your keywords into the search bar on the top right hand side of the screen for a list of related articles. You can then filter the articles by date, practice area/topic and content type.

7 Advanced Search Functionality If you can t find what you are looking for with our keyword search, you can use the Advanced Search options. HINT After searching, you can filter the results by date range, relevance, practice area, and content type. Simply click on the filters on the left hand side. Here you can search for exact words, in key areas, within specific time frame and other criteria. Click on the Advanced Search link to narrow searches using: All key words Filter by Area Exact wording Any of selected key words Exclude certain key words Within a date range Search article or title

8 RSS Feed An RSS feed allows you to pick and choose information from different sites to build your own custom news feed, specific to your individual area of interest. To set up an RSS feed: 1. Click on the RSS button at the top right of the screen. 2. Click on name of the relevant feed from the list available. 3. Copy the exact web address (URL) of the page and paste it into your reader and the feed will be added. For example - ssfeed&contentid=33391&getxmlfeed=true&view=default
