Its primary function is to lift patients from the bed, chair, toilet and fl oor. An optional, built-in digital scale displays the patient s weight with the touch of a button. The sling is designed to be used or removed with a minimum of handling and lifting of the patient and is convenient for use in toileting patients. The sling does not have to be left under most patients. 3 Control Panel LCD screen and buttons are easy to read and understand EZ LIFT SLINGS are designed to maximize the comfort and security of patients during transfers. EZ Slings are made in a wide assortment of sizes and will support patients weighing up to 1000 lbs.; however, users must only lift up to the weight capacity limits of their EZ Lift. As patients do vary in size, shape, weight and temperament, these conditions must be taken into consideration when deciding which size of the EZ Sling is most suitable for their needs. The EZ Slings are constructed of durable and washable 100% synthetic fabrics. There are three reinforced handles in the back for positioning the patient, and a large opening for toileting and access to the perineal area. ACCESSORIES DELUXE SLING The padded legs of the Deluxe Sling offer support and comfort to the patient while being lifted and transferred. It was developed in response to studies which indicate that the majority of injuries to caregivers occur while transferring patients from the toilet to a wheelchair. In most cases, one person can safely and comfortably toilet or change the briefs of the patient. The EZ Stand can also be used for transfers from a chair, wheelchair or bed and as a walker. Patients are raised and lowered quickly and smoothly, adding to their comfort and security. The EZ Stand allows patients to stand securely, which increases circulation, bone density and muscle tone. 6 The EZ Repositioner allows one person to reposition a patient up or down in bed easily and pain-free. With the EZ Repositioner, the patient s entire body is moved at the same time without being touched by the caregiver. The EZ Repositioner easily attaches to most hospital beds using simple tools. A sheet is fed from a roller at the foot of the bed to a roller at the head of the bed. As the handle turns the roller, the sheet moves the patient toward the head of the bed without any lifting by the nurse or caregiver. By moving the handle to the roller at the foot of the bed, the repositioning sheet can be rewound for additional use. The sheet is an anti-bacterial, fl ameretardant, anti-static, non-allergenic, tear-resistant material. EZ Way offers various brackets to fi t a variety of bed makes and models. Cleaning Soils and stains are removed by wiping the fabric with neutral suds and lukewarm water. Rinse with water. Hard to clean spots will require the use of a standard housekeeping liquid cleaner and/or a soft bristle brush. Pre-soaking may be required. Do not use harsh cleaners or solvents.
