Robust in construction for ultimate durability, the housing is extruded aluminum, the adjustable mounts and end caps are die-cast, and the fixed mounts and all screws are stainless steel. The PTFE membrane on the end of the luminaire allows the fixture to breathe with changes in temperature, elevation, and pressure. This allows the luminaire to remain waterproof while allowing gases to discharge. Winline W / luminaires are ETL listed for wet location, however, they must not be installed in any location where there is a chance of the fixture being submersed in water. The UV stable acrylic lens provides even beam control. Beam Spreads: The Series is available in four beam spreads for distinct lighting effects. Use the degree for high intensity close-up grazing. Connection to line voltage will permanently damage internal components and void manufacturer s warranty. VAC Transformer POWER REQUIREMENTS WINLINE W consumes W/ft, WINLINE consumes W/ft. REMOTE MOUNTING CONSIDERATIONS The WINLINE Series is powered from remote-mounted transformers. The maximum remote distance of the transformer is dependent on many factors including total LED load, wire size, distance from the transformer to the first fixture in each run, and starting voltage at the transformer. The installer is to ensure that VAC is present at the beginning of the run. By using a combination of large-gauge wire and adjusting the output voltage of the transformer, the installer can compensate for voltage drop over long remote distances.
