2 Community Service Coordinator The Community Service Coordinator works out of RISD Community Service and supports administrative and organizational needs related to the programs and events happening in the office. Workers help with overall marketing/distribution, event materials, partnership communication, and volunteer management. This position supports the day to day management and needs associated with maintaining the success of the office and program timeline. Why are you interested in being a Community Service Coordinator? [Required] Carr Haus Café Barista Carr Haus Café baristas are responsible for preparing food and beverages according to standards of quality and food safety. A barista must provide excellent customer service and be able to work in a fast-paced environment to quickly serve a high-volume of customers. Why are you interested in being a Carr Haus Café barista? [Required] Student Fitness Center Monitor The Student Fitness Center Monitor is the first point of contact for visitors to Fitness Center. The monitor will oversee the fitness center to ensure visitors are using the space and equipment safely. The monitor will clean equipment and facilities, give class instructors access to needed rooms and closets, and will notify managers of equipment or facilities in need of repair. The cashier will manage inventory, process donations, maintain records and logs and accurately process payments. Why do you want to work at Second Life? [Required] Expose Gallery Assistant The Exposè Gallery Assistant works with curators to install and deinstall shows. The gallery assistant will paint walls, hang or otherwise install art, clean the gallery, and provide excellent customer service during open gallery hours. The gallery assistant will speak to visitors about the work on display, and will accurately process payments when works are sold. Why do you want to work at Exposè? [Required] RISD 360 peer mentor The RISD 360 Peer Mentors assist with weekly first-year programming through the academic year. Peer mentors help with set-up and break down for events, and may serve as panelists or presenters for events. Peer mentors will work one-on-one with first year students as a resource, which may include in-person meetings, , or other forms of communication. Due to the nature of this position, first-year students may not be RISD 360 Peer Mentors. Why do you want to be a RISD 360 Peer Mentor? (A W-4 Form will have to be updated annually if the student is claiming exemption from taxes.) You must provide documentation to fill out your I-9 form.
