Update the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student Handbook for new students to know program/university policies and procedures. Evaluate current course offerings and make program modifications based on needs to include developing a course on Ethical, Legal, and Professional Issues in Counseling and an additional specialization, Counseling Children and Adolescents. Develop and write the Practicum and Internship handbooks as well as all of the forms to be completed by students applying for clinicals. Create a supervision orientation for site supervisors to complete prior to a CMHC student beginning practicum or internship with that supervisor. Evaluated various assessment options and chose LiveText to aide in the assessment plan for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. Appraise course schedule needs and create an advisement plan for new cohorts. Collaborate with the Graduate Admissions Office to recruit and interview new applicants for the CMHC program. Monitor the program budget. Spearhead the university approval of a new specialization, the Student Review Process and Remediation Plan, and 7 new courses to be offered in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. Serve as a committee member on the Graduate Working Group and Graduate Council. Prepare the self-study for CACREP accreditation. TEACHING EXPERIENCE Assistant Professor: Lock Haven University July Present Advise students on their program of study. Develop course proposals on the following: Issues facing Military Veterans and Reintegration and Recovery for Military Veterans and their Families Teach on-line core graduate level counseling classes for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. Serve as the secretary for ADAC meetings and the CMHC committee. Collaborate and prepare for interviewing perspective students.

2 Adjunct Professor of Psychology: Centenary College March 2013 May 2013 Taught an online Career Counseling course in the graduate counseling psychology program. Created rubrics to evaluate discussions and papers. Utilized Moodle to facilitate discussions, assignments, and provide feedback. Teaching Assistant: Walden University August 2012 November 2012 Co-taught the online master s course COUN 6346: Counseling Children and Adolescents using Blackboard format. Graded and evaluated students weekly discussion posts, responses, and assignments. Co-facilitated discussions and summaries on weekly topics to enhance student interactions. C.E.S. Academic Residency 2 and 3: Walden University February and July 2012 Co-taught Basic Counseling Skills and Advanced Counseling Skills to master s level students in the CACREP accredited Mental Health Counseling program. Evaluated students in regards to comportment and successful application of counseling skills. Graduate Assistant: Austin Peay State University September 2005 May 2006 Taught undergraduate level Development Psychology classes. Graded and evaluated tests, essays, and papers. Created PowerPoint presentations on research literature. SUPERVISION EXPERIENCE School Counselor Supervisor: Fishing Creek Elementary School January 2010 Present Consult on various case conceptualizations and help to refine the use of advanced counseling skills. Teach the foundation of play therapy and the implementation of the ASCA National Model for a comprehensive School Counseling program. Counsel the supervisee with regards to their personal experiences, feelings, and cultural background and how they relate to the current work with students, parents, faculty, and administration. Co-Supervisor: C.E.S. Residency 2 and 3: Walden University February and July 2012 Co-supervised master s level students in the successful completion of counseling skills techniques. Co-facilitated a processing group for master s level students. CLINICAL EXPERIENCE Practicum Ph.D. Candidate: Leg Up Farm June 2012 August 2012 Counselor Provided play therapy to children with a diversity of disorders. Co-counseled group sessions using sibling play therapy. Monitored and re-evaluated treatment plans.

Fishing Creek Elementary School, Lewisberry, PA June 2010 June 2013 School Counselor Counsel students in the areas of peer relations, family situations, character education, etc. Conduct group counseling on numerous topics (i.e. social skills, family change, grief, anger management, self-esteem, and girls leadership). Member of the school s safe crisis management team, the School Wide Effective Behavior Support committee, and the Guidance Mini-Curriculum. Conduct Parent Meetings (i.e. academic, social, and emotional concerns). Creator of monthly assemblies. Teach lessons on careers, conflict resolution, bullying, and proactive social skills. Coordinate career activities for the entire school. Devise behavior modification plans and consult with teachers on behavior management. Advisor to Student Council.
