Apply appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe electrical work practices. See NFPA 70E. Turn off all electrical power supplying this equipment before working on or inside the equipment. Always use a properly rated voltage sensing device to confirm that power is off. 6 Square D Clipsal Multi Room Audio Distribution Unit Power Supply A1 Instruction Bulletin 06/2007 CONNECTING THE POWER SUPPLY The Power Supply (SLC5600P24/500S) must be used with the MRA Distribution Unit. When connecting, confirm that the power outlet used to provide power is limited to the range specified. Refer to the "Specifications" section of this manual for specific supply voltage. NOTE: Although the Distribution Unit Power Supply uses transient protection circuitry, it is recommended to use external power surge protection devices to enhance system immunity to power surges. Follow these instructions to connect the Power Supply. 1. Connect the Power Supply to the Distribution Unit Power Supply's input power connection using the low voltage output cable. 2.
