This laptop charger can power your laptop and Tablet/ Smartphone at the same time, while the Smartphone Backup Battery provides backup power for your smartphone, or other USB powered device. Charging your mobile electronics Using the USB charge/sync cable that came with your device, plug one end into the USB Companion Charger(D), and the other into your tablet or smartphone. Charging Multiple Devices The Laptop Charger is designed to charge two devices at once. Both a laptop and a mobile electronic device can be charged at the same time or can be charged alone. The laptop charger and USB Companion Charger have a blue LED that is lit when powered. WARNING: DO NOT FORCE THE TIP INTO THE LAPTOP S POWER CONNECTOR. 4 Wall WALL AC NOTE: YOUR TARGUS LAPTOP CHARGER WILL AUTOMATICALLY ADJUST THE WATTAGE TO MEET THE SPECIFICATIONS OF YOUR LAPTOP (UP TO 90 WATTS) AND BEGIN CHARGING YOUR LAPTOP BATTERY. YOUR LAPTOP CAN BE POWERED ON AND IN USE WHILE THE ADAPTER CHARGES THE BATTERY. AFTER UNPLUGGING YOUR ADAPTER, PLEASE WAIT AT LEAST 5 SECONDS BEFORE PLUGGING IT BACK IN TO ALLOW IT TO RESET. Charging the Backup Battery Using the Micro-USB Cable(F), connect the Micro-USB connector(g) to the Backup Battery(E), and the Standard USB connector to USB Companion Charger(D). The LED on the battery will begin to blink when charging. When all 4 LEDs are lit, the unit is fully charged. Charging will take 2-3 hours depending on the source. This battery can also be charged from any standard USB port such as a computer. NOTE: THE AC ADAPTER MAY BECOME WARM WHEN IN USE. THIS IS NORMAL. 5 Using the Backup Battery (1) To Power and Charge your mobile devices from the Backup Battery(E), you can either use the charge/sync cable that came with your device, or the included Micro-USB cable(f) and optional Mini-USB Conncector tip(g). The LEDs will turn on briefly, and your device will begin to charge.
