1 New Management Committee of LIAM for 2013/2014 LIAM President Mr Vincent Kwo Shih Kang is the Chief Executive Officer of Uni.Asia Life Assurance Berhad and is a Qualified Actuary with more than 29 years of experience in the insurance industry. Mr Kwo obtained his First Class Honours Degree in Actuarial Science from City University (London) and a Master of Business Administration, majoring in Finance from CASS Business School, London. He obtained his Fellow of Society of Actuaries, USA in He is also a Fellow of Life Management Institute and a Registered Financial Planner. He has a wealth of international experience having held several senior positions including stints as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Appointed Actuary in various South East Asian countries. Within the insurance industry, other than as President of the Life Insurance Association of Malaysia (LIAM), Mr Kwo is also the Chairman of the Malaysian Life Reinsurance Berhad, Director of the Malaysian Rating Agency Corporation (MARC), President of the Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC), as well as Board Member of the Malaysian Insurance Institute. Mr Kwo has also been appointed as the Chairman of the East Asian Insurance Congress (EAIC) Executive Board since November LIAM Vice President Encik Kamaludin Ahmad is the Chief Executive Officer of Etiqa Insurance Berhad. He has been actively involved in the financial industry and has more than 20 years experience in sales, marketing, actuarial, underwriting and operations domestically as well as internationally. Uniquely, Encik Kamaludin has also garnered more than six years in the regulatory and risk capacity with stints at the Securities Commission and Bank Negara Malaysia. Prior to joining Etiqa, Kamaludin was with UEM Group Bhd which he joined after holding several key management positions in AIG Malaysia Insurance and AIG International. He is also a member of the PIAM Motor Sub-Committee and the BNM/PIAM Task Force for Revised Motor Tariff. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from University of Kent, Canterbury, England and is a member of Institute of Actuaries, England since 1991.

2 LIAM Management Committee Member Mr Jens Reisch is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad. He joined Allianz in 1983 as an apprentice at Allianz Life in Stuttgart. After spending two years at the Mortgage Department and three years at the Training Department, he took part in an in-house Development Program (AFP). Subsequently, he was a Regional Manager for East Asia at the Asia Pacific Division in Munich from 1993 to 1995 and was assigned from 1996 to 1999 to Allianz Indonesia as the Sales & Marketing Director. He returned to Allianz Germany in 2000 and was the Branch Manager of the Allianz Sales Branch in Landshut until Thereafter, he returned to Allianz Life Indonesia as the CEO and later Country Manager, a position he held till That same year, he took over the present position as CEO of Allianz Malaysia as well as Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad Mr Bill Lisle Mr Bill Lisle is the Chief Executive Officer of American International Assurance Bhd., a leading life insurer in Malaysia with total assets worth RM21 billion. He was appointed to the role on 26 December 2012, and responsible for leading the integration of AIA and ING s insurance operations in Malaysia as well as growing and strengthening the company s three main business lines comprising tied agency, partnership distribution and corporate solutions. He has extensive knowledge of the insurance industry, having spent the last 25 years holding a variety of senior positions, including Managing Director, South Asia for Aviva as well as Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Malaysia and Prudential Korea. Since joining AIA in January 2011, Lisle has held the position as AIA s Group Chief Distribution Officer and has played a key role in developing and driving the Group s Premier Agency and partnership distribution strategies, working closely with the Regional Chief Executives and the Country Chief Executive Officers and their teams. He continues to head the Group Distribution function for Agency, and remains a member of the Group Executive Committee in that capacity.

3 Mr Paul Low Hong Ceong was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Amlife Insurance Berhad in June. He has acquainted himself in various sectors namely insurance, mutual funds and wealth management locally and abroad mainly in the United States of America (USA) and China over the last 20 years. Paul has a clear record of consistently achieving results and growing the business. He also has hands-on experience in driving major transformational change. He began his career in the insurance industry with Northwestern Mutual life and MetLife Insurance in the USA. Prior to becoming the CEO, he held various key positions in Malaysia which includes AIA, Sime Axa Assurance and Arab Malaysian Unit Trust. He took a position as the CEO of BHLB Pacific Trust/SBB Mutual Berhad before moving to China to become the Chief Agency Officer and then Chief Operating Officer with CITI- Prudential Life Insurance. He subsequently became the Chief Distribution Officer & Deputy General Manager of ING Capital Life Insurance in China and his last stint in China was as the Executive Vice President, AEON Life. Besides that, Paul also took part in the merger of two unit trust companies, manufactured Islamic and non- Islamic funds and working with the agency force and retail banks to distribute Islamic and non-islamic unit trust products Mr Loke Kah Meng is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad. An Actuary by profession, he has 26 years experience in the industry and has held the roles of Chief Financial Officer, Chief Marketing Officer and Director of Operations. Mr Loke graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a Bachelor Degree in Actuarial Science, the University of Exeter with a Masters in Finance and Investment, and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries

4 Mr George Chew Mr George Chew is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Manulife Insurance Berhad. An industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Chew is focused on driving the growth of Manulife's insurance business in Malaysia. Prior to Malaysia, Mr. Chew has for the past 6 years led Manulife's insurance business in Hong Kong and was a key figure in the transformation of the product development and insurance services to meet the increasing demands of the Hong Kong market. Under his stewardship, Manulife products became more innovative and customer-focused and were also award-winning. Mr. Chew has also served in various senior posts in the general and life insurance sector. His career spanned AIU, QBE, Prudential and Aviva and he was an active player in the creation of the IFA market in Singapore. He is also an experienced bancassurance practitioner and have worked with both DBS Bank and Standard Chartered Bank. Mr Chew is an active member of the HKSAR Consultation Group on medical reform Mr. Toi See Jong is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tokio Marine Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad. Mr. Toi will be instrumental in leading it into the next phase of its corporate development and position it as the premier insurance company reputed for excellent service and products. A qualified actuary from United Kingdom, Mr. Toi is a wellrecognized business leader with a wealth of experience in insurance coupled with strong understanding of both the local and overseas market. He has successfully spearheaded and managed financial organizations in various positions over the span of 25 years with the first position based in United Kingdom. He assumed positions such as Appointed Actuary and Chief Executive Officer in Malaysia before taking on other senior positions in China, Singapore and Hong Kong.

5 Mr Cheong Chee Meng joined Zurich Group on 1st May 2010 as Chief Distribution Officer, Global Life Asia Pacific Middle East. Mr Cheong has over 35 years of market experience in the Asia Pacific region, 26 of which are in the life insurance sector. He held various positions such as Deputy CEO for ING Asia/Pacific Ltd, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Prudential Corporation Asia in Taiwan. He also spent over 17 years with the AXA Group and held CEO roles in Indonesia, Philippines and China. He has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (1st Class Honors) and MBA (Distinction) from the University of Melbourne and speaks five Asian dialects. In May 2010, Mr Cheong was appointed to the Board of the Melbourne Business School. In September 2011, he was appointed as CEO of Zurich Insurance Malaysia Berhad.
