2 Heritage Over 100 years of experience In 1911, 21 year-old Anthony Fokker flew his home-built aircraft over the city of Haarlem. In 1919, one of the first to see the opportunities of aviation and the revolution this would bring about, Fokker founded the Nederlandsche Vliegtuigenfabriek. By 1925 Fokker had grown to be the world s largest aircraft manufacturer, with plants in the Netherlands and the United States. Today, Fokker business units play an important role as specialists in the aerospace and defense industry. Some 600 Fokker aircraft are still in use, providing reliable service in all corners of the globe. With a clear focus on product groups (fuselages, empennages, wing movables), proven methodologies and knowledge-based engineering tools, we can substantially accelerate and improve design/build processes. And deliver the optimal integrator solution for our customers. In this co-operation, our roles may vary from a strategic supplier for the lifetime of the program to a bridge supplier, designing and producing initial series before supporting transfer to low-cost production bases. Design and development The Product Groups have the experience, and the reputation, to always deliver a conceptual design that meets the time, performance and cost targets of our customers. After the readiness criteria for Full Scale Development are met, teams in our offices in The Netherlands, USA and Romania will execute the design and certification work in cooperation with our partners.

5 Innovative integrator solutions Highly flexible All our products and services are based on optimal design combined with the application of innovative, lightweight materials and keen supply chain management. A highly flexible partner, we are ready to accommodate to every customer s needs. Our smart solutions can be utilized for - and in fact are part of - most commercial and military aerospace programs. Thermoplastics Thermoplastic composites combine high toughness, light weight, reprocessability and excellent fire-resistance. Proven solutions include the wing leading edge of the Airbus A380, the rudder and elevator of the Gulfstream G650 empennage and integrally stiffened skin panels. The use of advanced composites is a key factor for weight reduction and efficiency improvement. Fokker is a frontrunner in the application of thermoplastic composites in primary structures Glare Glare, a patented and award-winning glass-reinforced aluminium laminate, has excellent characteristics for fire resistance, fatigue resistance, impact resistance and lightning strike resistance. We developed Glare with Delft University of Technology and NLR (the Netherlands Aerospace Laboratory). The material is used for 500 m 2 of the Airbus A380 s fuselage and its horizontal and vertical tailplane leading edges, reducing weight with 30%. Focus on sustainability We consider environmental footprint one of the key drivers for future developments, giving valuable new impulses to the industry as a whole. Our products and services are developed, produced and recycled in the most efficient ways. In doing so, we help customers develop, build and fly safer, more affordable and greener aircraft.
