He extensively worked in the formulation and management of macroeconometric models for economic forecast and simulation of economic policies, contributing to periodical formulation of economic forecast reports. He taught Economics, Macroeconomics, Development economics, History of Economic Thought at University of Rome La Sapienza, 1

He has been Visiting Scholar at Simon Fraser University (Vancouver, Canada), Columbia University (New York, USA), University of London (London, UK), Beijing University (Beijing, China).
