5 Application Checklist Application form. Please, fill out the application in full. Picture. An updated, front picture, 4 by 4 centimetres (3.5 or 5.0 cm. are acceptable too) Passport. A photocopy of your passport to confirm the student s identity and personal information. Typically, this data appears on the first two pages, but it may be different in some countries. Academic transcript (in English or Spanish). A transcript is a record of all the courses and grades taken by the student at his/her home university. It is usually requested by the student at the Registrar s Office, the International Office, etc. As a rule, you must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher to be accepted, and to have completed at least the first two years of study at the home institution. Exemptions may be made after analysing the candidate s profile (age, experience, etc.), on a case-by-case basis. Spanish certificate (if applicable). A B2 level is requested for non-native students taking courses in Spanish. A certificate must be provided. Students lacking a certificate must take a two-week Spanish course on a fee-paying basis. The course will take place prior to the beginning of the semester. Learning Agreement (if applicable). Some institutions have their own forms where the students list the courses they will take. Students are requested to discuss this with their advisors prior to their departure. Proof of medical insurance, valid in Argentina. A copy of the medical insurance ID or a letter by the medical insurance company certifying that the student is covered in case he/she needs to receive medical care during the time he/she is going to be studying at the University. Tuition fee (if applicable). Payment of the corresponding fee is necessary to finalise the application process (see Payment Information). Exchange students from partner universities under a memorandum of understanding (MOU) are exempt. Please submit all the application material on the checklist to the following addresses: 1.
