All airends are equipped with rotors having this energy-saving profile which is operated at its best specific working point to ensure highest energy-efficiency. Atmospheric air is drawn through the inlet filter into the airend 2 where it is compressed. The airend is driven by the electric motor. Specially developed SIGMA FLUID is injected into the airend to serve as coolant, lubricant and sealant. Under normal conditions the air reaches a temperature of only about 0 C during compression. A three-stage separator removes the cooling oil from the compressed air.
