2 Historical New York Photos The New York City Municipal Archives has recently released a database of over 870,000 photos taken throughout the 20th century. Their subjects include daily life, construction, crime, city business, aerial photographs, and more. This is just a small sample of these photos. The whole database can be seen at 2
