5 ERFMI STATEMENT ERFMI believes that Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is important : To establish all environmental impacts To identify any areas where improvements need to be made In , ERFMI asked Fraunhofer Institute (D) to carry out a first study on environmental impact of their products based on life cycle analysis. In 2005 a Updated study was decided. 5
