3 page 3 Sugar is the new controlled substance. The average American consumes up to 31 pounds of sugar a year, and a diet high in sugar can cause diabetes, obesity, and many other health crises. Our excess intake of sugar, from the white stuff on the table to the high-fructose corn syrup hidden in packaged foods, is not only making us sick, it s making us fat and aging our skin.

5 page 5 Sugar truly is addictive: Your body reacts to it like a drug and craves it constantly. What we re asking you to do is to quit - cold turkey. It s true that the Three-Day Sugar Fix doesn t allow you any bread, rice, or pasta, but that is because starchy carbohydrates are a major contributor to sugar addiction. But most importantly not paleo. We replace them with good carbohydrates that are full of fiber, come from vegetables, and can actually help lower your blood sugar. This means for the first three days, breakfast consists of eggs - juices or salads - We gave you 1 neals to mix and play with throughout the 3 days. Juice all day or maybe just once, its s up to you. While we admit sticking to the plan is not easy, we believe going cold turkey and cutting out all sugar - including that found in fruit - for three days is necessary to set people on the right path.

7 page 7 BREAKFAST STIR FRY RECIPE MANGO AND KALE SMOOTHIE 15m 5m 4 organic eggs 1 tsp coconut oil 1 carrot, chopped 1 cup chopped leeks 1/ lb sausage 4 cups of spinach 1 garlic clove minced 1 mango, peeled, sliced and frozen 1 Banana frozen cups kale leaves 1 cup coconut water Add coconut oil to a heated pan. In a blender blend until smooth. Add leeks, carrots and garlic. Sautee until translucent Add sausage and cook until browned. In a separate pan fry 4 eggs. Reduce heat and toss in spinach. Cook until spinach has wilted.

8 page 8 PALEO BREAKFAST MUG KALE CUCUMBER Organic eggs strips of precooked bacon 1/ cup chopped chopped spinach 1/ cup sliced mushrooms Tbsp tomatoes Tbsp avocado 1 Tbsp chives 1 cup kale 1 ripe avocado 1 cup ice ½ cup coconut milk ½ cucumber 1 ripe pear Baste a large microwave-safe mug with coconut oil Add Spinach and mushrooms and microwave for 1- min (until veggies are soft) Blot any excess moisture from the veggies. Add eggs, tomatoes, bacon, chives, mix well, and then microwave for 1 min Lightly stir and allow to cool slightly Add avocado and enjoy Spoon the flesh of an avocado in the blender. Wash remove core and stem of pear and place remaining pear into blender. Peel cucumber and place in blender. Wash kale. In the same blender, add kale, and coconut milk and blend on high until perfectly smooth for about 3 minutes.

9 page 9 PALEO CHICKEN MARSALA MANGO BANANA SMOOTHIE 15m 5m 4 Organic boneless chicken breast 4 Tbsp coconut oil 1 Cup sliced mushrooms 1/ cup Marsla wine 1/4 cup cooking sherry 1/4 cup almond flour 1 tsp thyme leaves 1/ tsp dried oreganos 1 ripe banana 1/ cup frozen mango 1 cup coconut water 1 Tbsp raw honey cups ice In a bowl, mix together the almond flour, salt, pepper and oregano. Coat chicken in almond flour mixture. Take a large skillet add coconut oil over medium heat. Place all ingredients into a blender Process on high until a smooth consistency is achieved Pour into a glass and Enjoy! Place the chicken and lightly brown Reduce heat and toss in spinach. Cook until spinach has wilted.

10 page BUTTERNUT SALAD BERRY SPLASH SMOOTHIE 1 Whole Chopped Butternut Squash 3 Tablespoons Coconut OIl 5 Ounces Spinach Tablespoons Chopped Shallots Tablespoons Dried Cranberries 1 cup spinach strawberries ½ cup blueberries 1 cup coconut milk 1 teaspoon sun butter 1 teaspoon honey 1 bana 1 banana 1 Tablespoons Raisins 1 Cup Balsamic na Mix butternut squash, coconut oil, salt, and pepper together. Combine all the ingredients in a food processor or blender. Lay out evenly on a baking sheet. Bake at 375F for about 30 minutes until squash begins to brown. Blend or pulse until smooth and wellblended. Serve smoothie in a glass. Place spinach in a large salad bowl. Add Cooked squash, shallots, rasins, cranberries. If desired, top with coconut shavings, slivered almonds and fresh strawberry slices. Toss balsamic vinegar and serve.

11 page 11 PALEO KALE SALAD BLUEBERRY SMOOTHIE 4 Handfuls kale 1 handful red cabbage 1 tomato, chopped 1/ cup olive oil 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar 1 Tbsp Organic Honey 3 Cloves of garlic 1 cup almond milk or coconut milk 1/ cup frozen organic blueberries 1/4 cup pecans 1 Tbsp organic raw honey 1 tsp cinnamon 1 bana 1 cup ice na Remove Steams from Kale, chop and place into a Large bowl Combine all the ingredients into a blender Chop Red cabbage and place into the Large bowl Blend on high until a smooth drink is made. Mince garlic and place in a separate small bowl Serve and Enjoy! Add olive oil, balsamic oil, and organic honey with the garlic and mix thoroughly Mix everything Together and Enjoy your Paleo Salad!.

12 page 1 ROSEMARY SALMON PALEO GREEN JUICE 4 salmon fillets tbsp lemon tbsp olive oil 4 springs rosemary cloves garlic minced 4 Organic Pears 3 Celery Sticks 4 Kale leaves 1 bunch of parsley 1 Lime na Whisk lemon juice, olive oil, rosemary, and garlic cloves. In a ziplock bag pour lemon juice mixture into bag. Chop everything Juice all ingredients Enjoy your Paleo Juice! Place fillets into ziploc bag and marinate for a minimum of 3 hours. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place fillets on baking sheet skin side down. Cook for 0-5 minutes and Enjoy!

13 page 13 The only snacks allowed over the three days include nuts and pepper sticks with hummus and you can only drink green/herbal tea and one black coffee with no added sugar per day (along with lots of water that can be jazzed up with a slice of lime). After the first three days,we recommend a 90 day paleo eating plan, with recipes to help you maintain a low sugar paleo diet. We offer advice on how to avoid sugar when eating out and how you can still enjoy some of your favourite treats by combining them with certain sugar-burning foods.
