9 CANTILEVER RACKING Safe and economical storage system Cantilever racking consists of a series of vertical columns constructed from hot rolled universal main beams that are connected by rolled steel angle ties which form stability bracings. Each column is punched incrementally in the height to allow adjustability of the horizontal arm sections that bolt directly to the face of the columns. The arm sections are constructed from SHS, UB or PFC sections and manufactured with a two degree vertical rake along the length to prevent material moving to the end.
