2 Position Yourself for Success with an Arizona State University Master s Degree Complete your undergraduate degree attending your home university for three years, and ASU for the fi nal year. Upon successful completion of your bachelor s degree, skip the GRE and GMAT tests and enter a participating 9-month accelerated master s program at W. P. Carey. 3 3 years Undergraduate study at your home university Complete your fi rst three years of undergraduate study at your home university, with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0, on a scale of 4 points. +1 year Undergraduate study at ASU Pre-selection October-December - Your home university recommends eligible students to ASU for qualifi cation screening. ASU application December-April - Pre-selected students will carefully follow the ASU application steps, submitting a completed ASU undergraduate application, a completed ASU graduate application, and required documents. After you have fully completed application steps 1 and 2, a W. P. Carey representative will contact you to schedule a Skype interview. You will receive the fi nal admission decision after your interview has been evaluated. Admission and enrollment April-June - Students admitted to the IADP will receive an Admission Letter and a SEVIS I-20 document. After receiving the SEVIS I-20, you will need to schedule a visa interview with the U.S. Embassy in your country. You will also need to discuss your enrollment plan with a program advisor at W. P. Carey School of Business. Advisor approvals are required before enrolling in courses. Housing and travel to the U.S. April-August - After you receive your SEVIS I-20, ASU will send you information about housing options. Students are responsible for making their own housing and travel arrangements. Arrival and orientation August - When you arrive at ASU, check-in at the International Students and Scholars Center (ISSC) with your immigration documents. For details and location, visit students.asu.edu/international/support/visa. You are required to attend New International Student Orientation. For information, visit global.asu.edu/orientation for information. Undergraduate studies August-December - For the fi rst year (two semesters) at ASU, your level will be undergraduate. Undergraduates must take a minimum of 12 credit hours of classes each semester at ASU to maintain full-time status. You will be required to maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA during your fi rst year at ASU (your fourth year of undergraduate study) to qualify for the graduate segment of the IADP. IADP Format +1 year Graduate study at ASU Selection May-July - Upon successful completion of your fi rst year at ASU* (your fi nal year of undergraduate study), follow application steps 3 and 4. Students who have maintained a minimum 3.0 GPA during the fi rst year at ASU may continue onto the graduate level of the IADP. Admission and enrollment April-June - Students who qualify to continue onto the graduate level of the IADP will receive an updated SEVIS 1-20 from ASU. Advisor approvals are required before enrolling in graduate courses. Housing and Returning to the U.S. April-August - Students are responsible for arranging their own housing and travel. You may return home for the summer, or stay in the U.S. to complete a pre-arranged summer internship. Check with your program advisor regarding summer options. Arrival and orientation August - When you return to ASU, check-in at the ISSC with your immigration documents. You are required to attend ASU International Student Orientation and W. P. Carey Graduate Orientation. Details will be provided before you return to campus. Graduate studies and graduation August-December - Attend classes at W. P. Carey School of Business for 9 months to earn your master s degree. Graduates may attend ASU commencement ceremonies. Eligibility Academic Programs Qualifi ed students must meet eligibility requirements of both their home university and the ASU Academic program. English Proficiency ASU requires a minimum test score one of the following English profi ciency exams (please submit one): TOEFL: 80 ibt ets.org/toefl IELTS: 6.5 ielts.org PTE: 60 pearsonpte.com University Partnership Participation in this program is limited to qualifi ed students of universities which have active, signed general collaboration and program partnership agreements with ASU.

4 Pre-selected students will complete two ASU admission applications online: one for undergraduate admission, and another for graduate admission. Deadline for all applications October 1, 2014 (early decision) November 26, 2014 (priority consideration) February 2, 2015 (fi nal deadline for international students). After fi nal deadlines, applications may continue to be reviewed on a limited basis, according to space availablility Steps for applying Step 1: Complete ASU s undergraduate application process by the deadline a. Submit ASU s undergraduate application: asu.edu/ugaapp (fee: $65 USD) For special routing, choose BA Communication as your program. ASU Admission Services will change it to the correct program for you Ask your home university s International Exchange and Cooperation staff to scanned copies of these items to Zohreh.Sotoodeh@asu.edu: Letter of Nomination Transcripts Financial guarantee (required by SEVIS) English profi ciency test scores (i.e. TOEFL, IELTS or PTE) Step 2: Complete ASU s graduate application process by the deadline a. Submit ASU s graduate application: asu.edu/gradapp (fee: $90 USD) Select a participating W. P. Carey master s degree b. After both applications are complete and your scanned documents have been received, a W. P. Carey representative will contact you to schedule a Skype interview. You will receive the fi nal undergraduate admission decision after your interview has been evaluated Step 3: Immediately after completing steps 1 and 2 a. Ask your home university to mail your offi cial transcripts for all prior years of university study to ASU Graduate Admission Services. These must be received before the end of your fi rst semester at ASU Step 4: At the end of your undergraduate studies at ASU a. Transfer your ASU credits to your home university to receive your bachelor s degree from your home university b. Mail a copy of your bachelor s degree certifi cate to ASU Graduate Admission Services c. Ask your home university to mail your offi cial fi nal degree transcript to ASU Graduate Admission Services, or deliver it as soon as you return to ASU.
