1 REFRIGERATOR MODELS: EF36BNF, EF36BNNF, EF36IWF, IF36BNNF, PF36BNDF and PF36BNNF Millennia Handle Kit, PN AFM36H3 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Tools and Materials Required The following items are not provided with the kit and are required for proper installation. 3/32 Allen wrench (not supplied) T20 Torx driver (PF36 series only) Thin double sided tape (IF36 series only) Fasteners for attaching the handle mounting studs (IF36 series only), size and type varies with door panel configuration, see step 1 for further information Parts Included CAUTION: To avoid damage to the refrigerator or handle components, do not use power tools. Use hand tools only for disassembly and assembly. PN Millennia Handle Mounting Studs* (6) * Required for EF36 and IF36 series refrigerators only Millennia Style Handles (2 Large, PN ) (1 Small, PN ) For EF36 series refrigerators, skip to step 5. For PF series refrigerators, skip to step 7. STEP 1 NOTES: Model IF36BNNF only: This kit does not include the necessary handle stud mounting screws because the required fastener length varies with the total thickness of the custom panels. The panel craftsman must determine and obtain the proper stud mounting fasteners required for the application prior to installing the panels on the refrigerator. See Dacor document for complete custom panel construction information. The handle mounting studs accommodate #10 flat head screws/bolts. Bolting the studs into place on the panel is highly recommended for long term stability. If using bolts, the nut must be countersunk into the panel (see diagram). The inner edges of the two upper refrigerator doors must be secured to the door using thin double sided tape. See step 3 for additional details. 2 STEP 2 Model IF36BNNF only: Install the six (6) handle mounting studs in the locations shown below. Use the screw type selected in step 1. The top handle mounting stud spacings are 30 (762 mm). 3 STEP 5 EF36 Series Refrigerators Only: Using a T20 Torx driver, remove the six (6) handle mounting studs from the front of the refrigerator. Retain the Torx mounting screws. Discard the studs. 4 Bottom (Freezer) Handle Installation (All Models) STEP 7 STEP 8 STEP 9 STEP 10 Find the smallest of the three handles in the kit box. Mount the handle to the bottom drawer by sliding the holes on the back over the handle mounting studs on the refrigerator. Make sure the set screw holes on the handle are facing toward the bottom. You may need to loosen the set screws using a 3/32 Allen wrench to allow the handle to slide into place. Carefully tighten the set screws into place using the 3/32 Allen wrench. Be careful not to scratch the finish. Check to make sure the handle is firmly attached. studs Set screw holes Top Right Handle Installation (All Models) STEP 11 STEP 12 Mount the handle to the right door by sliding the holes on the back over the handle mounting studs on the right door. Make sure the set screw holes face toward the center of the refrigerator. Loosen the set screws if necessary to allow the handle to slide into place. Carefully tighten the set screws into place using the 3/32 Allen wrench. Be careful not to scratch the finish. Set screw holes studs STEP 13 Check to make sure the handle is firmly attached. Page 4

5 Top Left Handle Installation (All Models) STEP 14 STEP 15 STEP 16 STEP 17 Mount the remaining handle to the left door with set screw holes toward the center of the refrigerator. Loosen the set screws if necessary to allow the handle to slide into place. Open the left door while holding the handle in place to prevent damage to the other handle during step 16. Carefully tighten the set screws into place using the 3/32 Allen wrench. Be careful not to scratch the finish.
