This easy-to-set system allows the driver maximum flexibility when determining how the trailer should respond to a braking event. Snap-in dash mounting clip and removable electrical connector allow the unit to be quickly stored (or moved to another vehicle) when not in use. 7 PROPORTIONAL BRAKE CONTROL I-STOP IQ Brake Control For 1 to 3 AXLE TRAILERS A totally proportional electric trailer brake control, the new Draw-Tite I-Stop IQ is self-leveling so no level adjustment is necessary. Utilizing primary sensor technology the IQ now includes the Boost feature that gives users the ability to apply more initial trailer braking when towing heavier trailers. It works proportionally in reverse for backing into tough spots and includes a snap-in dash mounting clip and removable electrical connector that allows the unit to be quickly stored when not in use. 12 BRAKE CONTROL WIRING HARNESSES APPLICATION GUIDE BRAKE CONTROL WIRING Harnesses All vehicle specific brake control wiring harnesses are available in 1-Plug or 2-Plug styles. 1-Plug units are designed for manufactured with electrical wiring mounted on the back of the unit, otherwise known as a pigtail. Wiring harnesses must be spliced into the existing pigtail to allow the vehicle specific plug to be installed. 2-Plug units are designed for that have a wiring port built into the back of the unit. Simply plug the brake control end of the wiring harness into the back of the brake control and the vehicle end into the automobile s port.
