2 The Products TE ENGINEERING offers and manufactures standard and customized solutions: BIODISC TM IN-EKO Mechanical pre-treatment equipment Pre-treatment systems for collecting coarse materials and fibres in municipal and industrial areas: BIODISC TM comes with a wide range as fine screen, screw screen, belt screen and sand classifier for small, midsize and larger applications of hydraulic flow. Drum filter, micro drum filter and filter discs round up the production-program for pre-treatment and tertiary treatment stages. BIOJET TM ST surface aerator Developed for high oxygen transfer from 5 kgo2/h up to 230 kgo2/h depending on turbine size and used as fixed or floating installation. TESTFLOT TM Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) DAF plants and stages from m 3 /h for either flotation or filtration and flotation. Two different types available: The circular, more advanced Series TE and rectangular Series TF/TFL ELECTROFLOC TM Physical / Chemical Treatment Process Based on an electrolytic process, the direct current applied to the electrodes initiates different electrochemical reactions. 3 IN-EKO Sand Classifiers Separates with high efficiency sand, other in-organics, heavy granular to protect tanks against unwanted frequent cleaning. System manufactured with integrated sand washer separates sand from organics and screw conveyor to feed the sand into the container. Even for granular size of min 0,1 mm sand washers are available. Adjustable separation efficiency up to 1:10 Long retention time for a more efficient settling process IN-EKO Drum Filters The rotation drum with different filter mesh sizes and centred fibre collecting systems is unique: A sensor detects the water level and starts rinsing by using treated water to prevent the drum filter from clogging. An integrated screw conveyor and compactor feeds the dewatered material into a container or bin. The system can be installed in channels or supplied with a container tank as a stand-alone unit. For municipal and industrial application High lifetime stainless steel mesh filter Used in paper mills, textile factories, carpet factories, laundries for fibre recovery Available mesh filter (AISI 304 or 316L) sizes 0,1 mm to 3 mm Compact solution for shallow channel installation or above ground IN-EKO Micro Drum Filters Used as tertiary treatment process to filter treated water up to an even higher water quality. Significant are the positions of filter cloths in segments on the drum, which can be easily replaced. Inside the installed sludge collecting tank (with required pump and the automatic rinsing system) is part of the standard supply. The filtration capacity of up to 150 l/sec relates to the drum diameter, drum length and filter cloth pore sizes. Significant increase of filtered water quality Rinse water for cloth rinsing is automatically provided by the system itself High reliability and high lifetime. 4 BIODISC TM Fine Screens Compact mechanical pre-treatment equipment designed as self cleaning drum. Screen openings come with sizes from 0,25 mm up to 2,5 mm, with integrated screw compactor for coarse material and cover against odour. Used even in very small spaces, either to retrofit or as a new installation. Compact solution, requires only 1/3 1/5 space of regular screens Totally encapsulated system to avoid odour Self cleaning No clogging Wide range of application in municipal and industrial fields IN-EKO Belt Screens Designed to collect coarse material from bigger depths with automatic discharge, washing section of organics from solids and contained conveyor system with screw-press-unit. Available belt width 400 mm, 600 and 800 mm with mesh size of 3, 6 and 12 mm to be combined with a wide range of belt lengths, depending on channel depths. Provides brushes and spray nozzles to protect the belt screen against clogging. Screen inclination of 60 or 75 Monitors both sides of the screen Very high hydraulic flow Easy and convenient exchange of belt lamellas Very high efficiency IN-EKO Screw Screens Designed as channel screen or stand-alone-system. Comes with integrated coarse material compactor and screw brush with rinsing system, to keep screen openings free from clogging. Backwashing of organic solids is part of the system. Screw drums of 400, 500, 600 and 800 Ø mm with available screen openings of 1, 3, 6 or 12 mm guarantee a hydraulic flow from 18 to 140 l/sec in clean water conditions. Screw Screens can be adapted with Sand Classifiers to remove coarse material and grit at the same time. 5 BIOJET TM Surface Aerators The BIOJET low speed aerators are available as fixed or floating construction, with the worldwide unique one-cell floating system. To avoid the strong growth of unwanted thread-shaped organisms and the decay of necessary multi-cellular (micro-organism), the low speed aerators do not produce unwanted kinetical energy as high speed Aerators. High efficiency of 2,1 2,6 kgo2/kwh of oxygen loading and no remission of oxygen demand is guaranteed. Excellent mixing and aeration of liquid throughout the tank High alpha factor of 0,9 Very high lifetime: More than 20 years and h at working conditions. Manufactured of AISI 304 or 316 L Quick maintenance, no tank emptying required EDOM-Belt Filter Presses Belt Filter Presses are available as SKID mounted units or single installation. They combine all required options as poly make-up-units and belt conveyors for cake disposal into the container. Rollers made of AISI 304, frame of the standard units are galvanised in mild steel hot zinc. Depending on sludge composition, cake dryness ranges from 16 36%. High reliability and long lifetime Dewatering of municipal and industrial sludge Belt Presses available in AISI 304 or 316 L Daily cake production up to 30 m 3 /h Used in municipal and industrial applications EDOM-Poly Make Up TE supplies automatic polyelectrolyte preparation units to round up the delivery portfolio: DAF units, filter systems and belt presses for all applications. The BSB and BTB series made of AISI 304 prepare fully automated polyelectrolyte in concentration range from 0,05 % up to 0,3 % and dosing volume of 600 l/h, 1200 l/h and 2000 l/h. 6 TESTFLOT TM D.A.F. The Dissolved Air Floatation (D.A.F) clarifiers produce microscopic air bubbles by releasing water which had been, under pressure, saturated with air, Concerning power demand for production of microscopic air bubbles and chemical expense for formation of floatable impurities, microscope our bubbles between 30 μ 60 μ have the best effect, to join the particles and to lift up them to the surface. The advantage of the circular tank TE series with shallow tank height is the large turbulence free surface. The high efficiency of TESTFLOT TE series is due to tank construction, bridge and scoop system and HPT vessel. All wetted parts are made of AISI 304 or 316L and none-wetted parts of AISI 304. Due to the long experiences of the production factory we grant minimum design life of 15 years, with high reliability and extremely low maintenance. We supply three different versions TE Series with circular tank up to 2500 m 3 /h flow TF Series with rectangular tank with scoop and skimmer system up to 350 m 3 /h flow TFL Series with rectangular tank and simple skimmer system up to 150 m 3 /h flow for easy application and low efficiency requirements Short production overview of TF and TFL Series Applications: Chemical industry, container washing, refinery, shipyards, paper industry/de-inking & white water, laundry, tanneries, textile finishing, meat/poultry/fish processing, slaughterhouse, edible oil plants, kitchens/food preparation, dairy, breweries, raw water preparation, sludge thickening, drinking water plants etc. 6 Technique Environment
7 ELECTROFLOC The Electroflocculation is one of the most ecological treatment process for industrial waste water based on physical-chemical principles (electrolysis). Electrochemical dissolution of electrode material results in highly reactive iron and aluminium ions, which form highly adsorptive hydroxides. No need of transportation and storing hazardous chemicals. Electro flocculation initiates numerous redox-reactions. Especially the anodic oxidation starts a number of different chemical reactions and guaranteed dismantling of heavy metals, Oil, Fat, COD, BOD5, AOX and more. The ELECTROFLOC is supplied with iron and Al-Cells, reaction tanks (smaller installations), lamella settler, ph and conductivity correction if required pumps and control cabinet with frame as turn key unit.
