The moisture effect is almost like a magnet. It somehow binds to the stratum corneum and its moisturizing benefits are not "washed off. The body lotions and creams under the Royal brand (e.g Royal Almond, Rose, Ginger, Lavender) have similar key ingredients but they do not include these additional benefits. 9

Usually mineral mud such as Dead Sea mineral mud is made up of several layers of sedimentary clay formed over thousands of years. 16 Jafra s Mud Mask has a blend of muds from three sources. 1. Dead Sea mud. Sourced from the Dead sea 2. Silt & Glycyrrhiza Glabra extract. The silt (mud) sourced from the bed of the Ganges river originating in the Himalayas. Glycyrrhiza Glabra extract is a licorice extract complexed with the mud for skin clarifying benefits. 3. Silt (mud) collected from two of the 240 freshwater lakes in Eastern Europe. These have been combined to create a synergistic treatment of herbs and minerals that provide a cleansing and detoxifying experience. All of the muds have a slightly different composition.
