2 Explanation of Proposed Student Fees: Description Proposed Rate ISEP Placement Fee $ Participant Placement Fee for reciprocal ISEP Exchanges / Deposit for ISEP Direct Programs: Payable for each student applicant nominated to ISEP by IPFW. This fee applies both to new student applicants and to applicants who request a second placement after submitting the initial application. This fee is non-refundable, unless ISEP is unable to place an applicant in which case $100 of this fee will be retained, and the balance of $290 will be returned to the applicant. Dual-Program Placement Fee $ When an IPFW student requests two consecutive placements at different ISEP hosting institutions, the dual program fee of $490 is due at the time of the initial application. This is a one-time fee covering both programs, and applies to students applying for consecutive placements at an ISEP Exchange site, ISEP Direct site, or a combination of the two. Students who accept both placements and then withdraw after the first semester will be liable for all unrecoverable costs incurred by the second semester host institution. IPFW will forward this fee directly to ISEP on behalf of the nominated student. ISEP Placement Extension Fee $ ISEP Exchange: Extension from a semester to a full-year placement or from one year to the next. ISEP Direct: Extension from a semester to a full-year placement or from one year to the next (to be applied to total ISEP Direct program fee): $100. ISEP Tuition $3,832.50/semest er Undergraduate $ semester Non- $ per credit (per resident rates) X 14 credit hours charged to each outbound IPFW student and held in an account to be established to cover the cost of tuition for each incoming ISEP exchange student. Per credit tuition will change annually as determined by Purdue Board of Trustees. ISEP Housing $ /semester
3 Housing costs charged to each outbound IPFW student and held in an account to be established to cover the following related housing costs for each incoming ISEP exchange student: $20.00 housing application fee; $ rent per academic year/10 month housing contract or $ rent per semester only placement/5 month housing contract for a private bedroom in a 4 bedroom/2 bath unit; $ ($20.61/night X 7 nights) early move-in fee to provide housing for required orientation program prior to the start of classes. Housing charges will change annually as determined by Purdue Board of Trustees. ISEP Meal Stipend $1,600.00/semester $1,600.00/semester charged to outbound IPFW students and held in an account to be established to cover the cost of meals for incoming ISEP exchange students. ISEP Meal Stipend will be paid in one lump sum per semester to each incoming ISEP exchange students. Amount calculated per estimated cost of attendance provided by the Office of Financial Aid. ISEP Meal Stipend will change annually as determined by IPFW Office of Financial Aid.
