1 5Ω (OHM) 27,000 WATT (27kW) LOAD BANK FOR OUTDOOR APPLICATION. This particular loadbank was used on a hoist with variable speed drive (VSD) and mounted on top of a dam wall, exposed to direct rain and sunlight. We custom manufactured this weatherproof enclosure and powered coated it ACTOM Orange BX24155 for outdoor application. Grade 304 stainless steel enclosure. All electrical connections 304 stainless steel. Electrical Orange powder coated, ACTOM Orange BX24155 for outdoor application. Chrome-Nickel (CrNi) resistor windings resistant to corrosion. Forced cooled with moisture resistant fans. Brass stud terminals. IP22
2 BATTERY DISCHARGE LOADBANK. 400 AMPS. TYPE Back-up battery banks are a critical part of the power supply for telecommunication systems which ensures continuous and stable supply of power under all operating conditions. Batteries are used wherever essential non-interruptible power is critical such as in hospitals, data-centers and emergency lighting systems. Testing of the battery performance such as no-load voltage or impedance does not always determine a battery s capacity, which means that off-line load testing has an important place in most maintenance schedules. When the batteries are reaching the end of their life expectancy a discharge test through a load bank is necessary to determine whether it needs to be replaced. Selectable loads: 3x 100amps; 1x 50 Amp; 2x 20 Amp; 2x 5 Amp. Analogue voltage and current meters. Banana sockets for accurate measuring of voltage and current via internal current shunt. Cooling with DC fans. Floor standing unit on castor wheels.
