1 ANNEXURE-I TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1) You will have to supply Various types of unifms & Liveries to all the eligible staff members of IIT Bombay including Security. 2) You will have to submit the bid in two parts: 1) Technical & 2) Financial. Technical bid will contain only the infmation about the firm and details of clients list, list of officers / wkers, equipments available,etc. The financial bid will only contain financial quotes/ rates. 3) You may quote f all the items shown in the column of unifm lists against estimated quantity. All taxes will be paid extra. 4) Single quotation f all the items will be preferred. However, if any firm desires to supply part items such as shoes, etc. can also apply. In such cases, security deposit will be relaxed to an appropriate amount. 5) All shirts, pants and apron cloth will be of Raymond only. Details of each unifm are as follows: a) Navy blue pant: Raymond Travin, Quality no. 01 / 530 / Shed no b) Light sky blue shirt: Raymond quality no , Shed no. 04. c) Navy Blue Apron: Raymond Travin, Quality no. 01 / 530 / Shed no. 892 / 122. d) White overcoat: Raymond Travin, Quality no. 01 / 530 / 02939, Shed White. e) Full pant & shirt (White): Raymond Travin, Quality no. 01 / 530 / 02939, Shed White. f) Boiler Suit, blue colour :Raymond Travin, Quality no. 01/530/ Shed no. 892 / 122. g)security unifms, khaki colour: Raymond Travin, Quality no. 01/530/ Shed no. 191/923. h) Brown Checkers. Shirts of Raymond. i) Full pant black colour: Raymond Travin, Quality no. 01 / 530 / shed no ) Vimal / Garden Varelli any other available brand (Range Rs ) : Light sky blue saree with navy blue bder & sky blue blouse. 7) Vimal / Garden Varelli any other available brand (Range Rs ) : Plain white colour and white blouse. 8) Measurement of all the staff f unifms should be taken at IIT Bombay only. Advance infmation f taking measurement must be communicated to concerned section well in advance. 9) Delivery of the unifms must be done within 30 days from the date of measurement. Delivery should be done at IIT Bombay only. 10)Supplier will be selected initially f a period of one year subject to renewal f 3 years if found satisfacty. 11)Vends will have to deposit an amount of Rs. 25,000/- with IIT Bombay as EMD which will be refunded to unsuccessful vends and in case of successful vends the said amount will be retained as security deposit.

2 12)Security Deposit can be relaxed, if committee feels necessary. 13)Vend will have to give assurance regarding quality & colour of the clothes. 14)The stitching should be of a good quality with following interlocking stitching pattern. 15)There should not be any complaint from the staff members regarding quality & colour and stitching of the unifm. All complaints about fitting should be attended within a week, failing which appropriate amount will be deducted from the bill. 16)You have to submit sample cloth to IIT Bombay along with the quotation. 17)You will have to submit the iginal bills f purchase of cloths from authized shop facty outlet of Raymond only. 18)Institute reserves right to sent the sample of cloths f verification to the company. 19)Institute reserves right to cancel / amend the contract without assigning any reason. 20)All unifms must be embossed with name IIT Bombay in bilingual fms. 21) Material to be used f the stitching should be as mentioned below: a) THREAD MADE OF MADURA COATS only. b) ZIP MADE OF MODI only. c) BUTTONS OF PARAS AND PRESS BUTTONS OF PONI only.

4 NOTE: All Security unifms should be with specifications as mentioned: Shirts with half sleeves, two breast pockets with flaps and press buttons, shoulder flaps with 2 holes and loop f lanyard with matching plastic buttons.
