Just as the DNA holds the key to our physical development, so the subtle energies the universe gives to each one of us at birth is the key to our spiritual development. The way the solar system is patterned at a specific time of birth (as seen by the human eye from the vantage point of the Earth) illustrates the patterns of energy the newborn has to work with. Planets and stars are symbols, symbols of energetic tools a newborn has to use. They are letters of the alphabet of the astrological language rather than direct causes of human behavior.
