16 The Tree of Life and Daath Pack are to be read in three stages, no more than once a year. The three stages consists of cards total, meaning the 0 card Tree of life and the card Daath pack should be spread out in formation, without reshuffling. The Daath Pack can be placed next to each Tree, without spreading them out until the Tree it is dedicated to has been read. The stages are as follows: Cycle One is the Past. Cycle Two is the Present. Cycle Three is the Future. Each stage should be read accordingly, due to the Kabbalistic ideas that join the three pillars (verticals) : s,, The right hand branch should be read with mercy/compassion. s,, 9, 0 Center should be read in the spirit of harmony. s,, 8 The left hand branch should be read with severity, should a particularly negative or influenced card appear in this area the querent may be scolded. Prior to any reading being completed, the Querent must choose a face, or court card that is a most accurate representative of him/herself.
