2 Meet the New Cardinals Marissa Ruiz Age you started playing softball: 8 years old I would want to meet Natasha Whatley, since she is a professional slapper I would like to ask her tips on slapping. Major as of right now: Rehab Science with a Concentration in Physical Therapy Your dream job: Open up my own physical therapy facility that specializes in sports injuries. My number one career goal while playing softball at UIW is to work hard every day and help the team and myself excel in every aspect of the game. Of course my number 1 academic goal while attending UIW is to graduate with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Overall a personal goal of mine is to try to stay as close as possible to a 4.0. Victoria Bratcher Classification: Sophomore Age you started playing softball: 6 years old Jessica Mendoza just cause she s freaking awesome. Major as of right now: General Business Your dream job: A trophy wife or a CEO s assistant/secretary. Achieve the highest potential I can and hold some type of record at UIW. Achieve above a 3.5 GPA and attend graduate school.

3 Classification: Junior Age you started playing softball: 8 years old Brigitte Gauvin Lauren Chamberlain. I'd like to know how she stays so confident at the plate. Major as of right now: Biology Your dream job: Getting paid to try foods in every country in the world. I hope to better myself as a player, especially as a hitter. I'd also like to better myself as a teammate and enjoy every second I have left playing softball at UIW. I'd like to graduate with a bachelor's in science and make it on the Dean's list. Bridget Stein Classification: Junior Age you started playing softball: 5 years old I would like to meet Lauren Chamberlain, because she has accomplished so much and she has worked so hard for everything that she has accomplished. I would love to get the insight on everything she had to go to, to get to where she is now in her softball career. Major as of right now: Business Your dream job: Paid to travel the world. My #1 career goal is to do the best that I possibly can at pitching, for my team. My #1 academic goal is to make straight A's.

4 Meet the New Cardinals Jade Lassetter Age you started playing softball: 4 years old Jennifer Finch Major as of right now: Physical therapy Your dream job: PT (Physical Therapist) for the MLB To be in the best shape I have ever been in my life. I wish to at least get a 3.5 GPA. Chandler Hoagland Age you started playing softball: 4 years old My favorite softball player is Michele Smith. She made a positive name for herself and basically she was just an amazing player at every position offensively and defensively. Major as of right now: Business Sports Management What is your dream job? My dream job is to work for Red Bull or a big named company like so and manage professional athletes therefore it will give me an opportunity to stay in a sports mindset. Here at UIW I would like to become stronger player mentally and physically so I am able to support my team to reach an overall bigger goal which is to win Southland Conference. Academically I would like to make the Dean s List.

5 Alexis Santos Age you started playing softball: 6 years old I would like to meet Lauren Chamberlain because she hits dingers. Major as of right now: Sports Management Your dream job: Coaching or something that involves traveling. My career goal is to help my team in any way I can so we can be successful. My academic goal is to get the most out of my education while maintaining a high GPA and figuring out my future career. Jessica Rodriguez Age you started playing softball: 9 years old I would like to meet Jennie Finch because I would love for her to give me some pitching tips. Major as of right now: Criminal Justice Your dream job: Forensic Technician My career goal would be to help my team win. My academic goal would be to earn my degree.

6 Classification: Junior Lacie Stevens Age you started playing softball: 5 years old Lauren Chamberlain because she is a phenomenal hitter and also very humble of her accomplishments. Major as of right now: Biology Your dream job: Veterinarian Excel in academics and graduate with a degree while at the same time building the UIW softball program. To get a 3.8 or higher GPA. Darrianne Hale Age you started playing softball: 7 years old I would like to sit down and talk to Jennie Finch because was, she is still one of the greatest pitchers softball has seen. Major as of right now: Biomedical Engineering Your dream job: Help disabled Veterans rejoin society after they have served by being able to give them prosthetics or rehab. To beat the homerun record set by Lauren Chamberlain. Make the Dean s list every semester.

7 Kimberly Abundis Age you started playing softball: 9 years old I would like to meet Lauren Haeger because she is an amazing softball player. Major as of right now: Criminal Justice Your dream job: FBI Agent My career goal would to become a starter. My academic goal would be to graduate from UIW and maintain good grades the whole year. Shelbi Cummins Age you started playing softball: 6 or 7 years old Megan Willis because she is a very successful catcher on the USSSA Pride professional softball team that has caught Cat Osterman since they were in college at UT. Major as of right now: Biology Your dream job: Orthodontist Get stronger and better and become successful in helping the team as a catcher and hitting. Get on the Dean's list and graduate.
