1 Candidate Name: William Sefton Bowman Qualified CPA with law degree, senior director role in finance in semiconductor industry. Volunteer in local community Grassroots organizations, charitable committees, Appropriate Adult, Befriender for Singapore Prison Service, finance and accounting member associations investigation and disciplinary panels, supporter of hospice movement. American Club member (9 years). Current committees: Finance (8 years), General Committee (5 years), Chair of Tender (1 year); previously Chair Sport and Recreation (1 year). The Club maintains a diverse service offering to appeal to an equally diverse membership, but at the same time retains the glue of camaraderie. The Club benefits from substantial member involvement, with operational responsibility vested in Management. Clearly the greatest current challenge is the successful delivery of the Club redevelopment project which is essential for the future of the Club. Current Club members benefit from Club infrastructure and programmes built up over numerous years by earlier members. I feel that as a current member I should help to leave the Club in at least as good a situation, if not better than, when I joined. I seek to remain on the General Committee to help to achieve this.

2 Candidate Name: Kristen Jennings Graff I became a member of the American Club after moving to Singapore from New York City in Since elected to the General Committee I have been actively involved: Chairing the Social and Dining Committee, being elected as the Secretary of the General Committee and in March, as its Vice President, the position I currently hold. Working with General Committee, members, management, and staff of the Club has been richly rewarding and I look forward to continue my commitment as the Club renews with growth and improvement. I am a licensed real estate agent in Singapore. As an entrepreneur, I am creative, resourceful and known for cost effective strategies. I am a strong team player and believe most problems have win-win solutions. Prior to moving to Singapore I was the Director of Retail Development and Cost Control for Giorgio Armani. I was responsible for the development, maintenance, and capital expenses for all 32 Armani stores in the US. I oversaw $20+ million dollar budget working with domestic and international Finance on projections, depreciation, and cash flow. I led the process working with all internal and external providers. My family and I consider the Club our home-away-from-home and are active users.

3 Candidate Name: Richard Lance Hartung In my role as a General Committee member, and previously as Club treasurer, I have focused on improving the financial strength of the Club and taking a strategic view to make the Club even better. As redevelopment proceeds, this focus on the short-term and long-term strategy to position the Club to serve member needs better and on maintaining financial stability is increasingly important. My experience in finance, as a banker previously and as a consultant for retail banks now, and as the treasurer in other non-profits, gives me the ability to provide this support to the Club. Along with my roles at the Club and in consulting, I am a freelance writer for local and international magazines and newspapers. I also volunteer with other non-profits that focus on youth empowerment, environmental conservation and fintechs. My family and I have been members of the American Club since I seek your support for election to the GC so that I can continue to leverage my experience in financial services and my work with non-profits in order to make the Club even better while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

4 Candidate Name: Diane Richmond Knox My family arrived in Singapore 6 years ago and we ve been happy, delighted club members for 5 years. I ve been a member of the GC and Chairperson of the Youth & Family Committee for two years. I m also an active participant in the Redevelopment Project, attending feedback sessions and strategic planning meetings as needed to represent the needs of the Youth & Family and Aquatics communities. Professionally, my experience is in Management Consulting, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Writing and Executive Education & Training. You can read more about me at in/dianerichmondknox. My experience helps me contribute strategic perspective and advice to Club Management to support their work. As a General Committee member I am most interested in: Maintaining and building on the club s high service quality and standards Continually looking for innovative ways to create fun experiences and services for members of all ages. Supporting employee satisfaction and engagement. We have wonderful staff and a very strong employee culture that drives great performance, which I am keen to support. Maintaining our focus on the above as we complete a successful Redevelopment project.

5 Candidate Name: Scott Wesley Morris The Club is experiencing a number of challenges in the future: a large-scale Redevelopment, changing demographics and a possible macroeconomic recession. Notwithstanding these concerns, the Club must remain strong and remain the heart of our social community and friendships. It s been an honor and privilege to recently join the Redevelopment s Project Control Group (PCG) and work together with other Club members and external consultants for our common goal. Professionally, I have over 20 years of experience in banking and commercial real estate, with experience in real estate financial modeling & analysis, risk management and structuring projects like the Redevelopment. I have evaluated and financed large-scale construction projects and similar developments. Here in Singapore I have my own firm, SWM Advisors, engaged in financial consulting. My family has sincerely appreciated the Club s facilities and F&B services. While my wife, Sarah, is an administrator at SAS, we have two children (ages 8 and 6) who have been involved in many Club activities, including aquatics and camps. I have Bachelor s in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, and before relocating to Singapore last year, lived in Chicago for 20 years.

6 Candidate Name: Robert D Naso While originally from the New York, my wife and I originally moved to Asia in 2004 to Hong Kong. This was followed by Shanghai in 2006 and then finally one last time here to Singapore in Our children (9 and 7 years old) attend Tanglin Trust and have only known Singapore as home while growing up at the Club. Everything about its redevelopment transformation is important to us. I am currently a member of the Club s Design Review Committee and would like to contribute more at this critical time. I completed my BS in Accounting at the University of Scranton and my MBA at New York University. My professional experience in real estate asset management and investing across complex commercial projects combined with working with differing constituencies can be additive to an already complex process that requires active member involvement and creative problem solving. I am happy to volunteer to work collaboratively with the membership and management in an effort to deliver a solid American Club experience now while working toward an exceptional end product for all of us to also enjoy later.

7 Candidate Name: Ngiam Siew Wei As a child, I learned to swim at the club in the early 70s and as an adult; I chose to join the American Club because of the friendly atmosphere.. In addition to Cornell Bachelor s and Master s degrees, I bring 20 years of Shell experience, including leading global marketing initiatives and accountability for running an oil business (US$18 Mln cost budget, US$1.7 Bln sales proceeds). On the community front, I established the Shell Singapore Women s Network, served as Deputy Treasurer (6 years) on the Shell Singapore Credit Cooperative Union Board, and currently sit on the Exco of the Cornell Club Singapore and the School Advisory Board for Cedar Girls Secondary School. Specifically for the American community in Singapore, I am currently the AWA Chair for Mahjong and I serve on the General Committee, Sports & Recreation committee(chair), Social & Dining Committee and the Tender Committee for the American Club. I look forward to contributing my time and energy to the club s future by serving on the GC.

8 Candidate Name: Stephen Ray Finch My wife, Padmini, and I have been Club members for more than 18 years. We have four children who grew up in Singapore, and have precious memories of romping happily around the Club. As a Singapore Permanent Resident, my plan is to remain in Singapore for many years to come. I share with you, a common interest in maintaining the financial health of the Club. I grew up in Texas, where I attended Texas A&M then worked for Shell in Houston. After completing my MBA at Harvard, I joined Citibank, then moved to Asia where I worked in banking, finance and fund management for more than 30 years. I am currently the CEO of a Family Office owned real estate investment management company. My background has given me broad experience in evaluating the financial viability and sustainability of commercial real estate. I am seeking to join the General Committee to contribute my experience to enhance the Club s long term financial strength. Please vote for me, to represent you on the General Committee.

9 Candidate Name: Shailesh Daniel Paul I am seeking a position on the General Committee so that I can contribute my experience in the corporate sector to help make the Club an even better place for members. I have had the opportunity to contribute my efforts to support non-profit organizations. I previously served as vice chairman of the social welfare committee at the New Delhi YMCA; am a mentor to the next generation of young leaders and teach as guest faculty at institutions. In my corporate role, I work as a senior payments executive at a leading multinational organization, heading a regional team that provides business development and partnership programs to our clients. I have an MBA and a Bachelor in Business Studies degree. I am a self-taught culinary enthusiast and enjoy social tennis over the weekend. My wife and I have lived in Singapore for a decade and, along with our young son, are delighted to be part of the Club community. I seek your support so that I can leverage my skills and expertise, especially during this period of strategic redevelopment, to make the Club an even more vibrant experience.

10 Candidate Name: Meena Trakru Club redevelopment is now in full swing and our money is being spent. I believe that my expertise in finance and my desire to help create an exciting and viable club for families will make a useful contribution to GC in this challenging period. My willingness to listen and incorporate ideas, combined with this experience in finance, will also enable me to provide a strong voice for members who want to make sure that the redevelopment brings the benefits we all desire. My background in finance comes from a long career in banking and accounting at Deloitte, Lehman Brothers and JP Morgan. I also have an undergraduate Engineering degree and an MBA. I am a passionate volunteer and have been on the boards of non-profits, including serving as PTA Treasurer here in Singapore and as Secretary for TELL in Tokyo. My husband, two daughters and I have enjoyed the Club immensely. We joined the Club so that our children could enjoy the kid-friendly atmosphere and partake in various activities. After the redevelopment, we all want our Club back and our second home to be enjoyable for all members.
