5 External Advertisement Application This service allows clients to apply to place real estate advertisements on buildings, streets, or roads. The service is provided by the Licenses and Inspection Section at the Department of Real Estate Licensing Services. 1- Filling the form available on the website ( 2- Copy of the Commercial License 3- Copy of the marketing agreement with the real property owner, where the applicant is a real estate brokerage firm 4- Copy of the advertisement (at least 50% of the text of the advertisement must be in Arabic) Marketing Real Property outside of the UAE: 1- Copy of the real property Title Deed 2- Marketing agreement between the real property owner and real estate brokerage firm 3- A letter from the real estate brokers indicating the type of real property (apartment, villa, building, completed or off-plan building. etc) 4- Undertaking from the real estate brokers that they will not receive any amounts on behalf of the owner 5- Undertaking from the real estate brokers that they hold the full legal liability for the authenticity of the information provided 6- Documents issued outside of the UAE must be attested by a UAE embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and translated into Arabic by a legal translator 5

7 Vehicle Advertisement Application This service allows clients to apply to install real estate advertisements and posters on vehicles. The service is provided by the Licenses and Inspection Section at the Department of Real Estate Licensing Services. 1- Filling the form available on the website ( 2- Copy of the Commercial License 3- Copy of the marketing agreement with the real property owner, where the applicant is a real estate brokerage firm 4- Copy of the advertisement (at least 50% of the text of the advertisement must be in Arabic) 5- In case of advertisements for real estate brokerage firms, no marketing agreement is required Fees 1,020 Dirhams 7

8 Request to Authorize Sending SMS Advertisements This service allows clients to apply to send advertisements through SMS. The service is provided by the Licenses and Inspection Section at the Department of Real Estate Licensing Services. 1- Filling the form available on the website ( 2- Copy of the Commercial License 3- Copy of the advertisement (at least 50% of the text of the advertisement must be in Arabic) 4- Undertaking to send SMSs to the firm s approved clients only, and to send one SMS to each person at a convenient time of the day. Fees 1,020 Dirhams per text 8

9 Request for Permit to Organize Real Estate Exhibition This service allows clients to apply to the Land Department to approve issuing permits to firms engaged in organizing real estate exhibitions to promote real estate sales at the local level. The service is provided by the Licenses and Inspection Section at the Department of Real Estate Licensing Services. 1- Filling the form available on the website ( 2- Real Estate License authorizing the organization of real estate exhibitions 3- Lease contract of the location of the exhibition, and statement of the period of the exhibition and the nationality of participants 4- Statement of the real estate companies participating in the exhibition. Fees Initial Reservation Request must be submitted in which the date of exhibition shall be specified. A non-refundable Initial Reservation Fee of 10,020 Dirhams must be paid. A fee of 1,020 Dirhams will be charged in respect of each participat in the exhibition (A cheque in the total amount of fees shall be issued by the company organizing the exhibition). Note: The amount of Initial Reservation Fee will be deducted from the amount of final permit fees. 9

10 Request for Permit to Hold Project Inauguration Ceremony This service allows real estate developers, or real estate brokers representing real estate developers, to apply for issuing a permit for organizing a ceremony in a hall in a hotel operating in Dubai to announce the launch of a real estate project. Within the Emirate of Dubai Filling the form Copy of the license of the real estate developer or real estate brokers Marketing agreement between the real property owner and real estate brokerage firm Lease contract of the site of the ceremony Notes: The project must be registered with the Department of Real Estate Escrow Accounts Outside of the UAE. 11 Request for Permit to Install Stand to Market Time-share Residential Units This service allows companies renting residential units on timeshare basis to apply for issuing a permit for a stand to market units in hotel and resorts on timeshare basis. 1- Filling the form 2- Copy of the license featuring the activity of leasing real property on time-share basis 3- Certificate of membership with an international organization 4- The building must be classified as hotel or hotel apartments, and the units to be marketed may not be less than 50 real estate units For projects within the UAE: 1- Title Deed 2- Certificate of Completion of the building, issued by competent authorities For projects outside of the UAE: 1- Title Deed 2- Certificate of Completion of the units or resorts to be marketed, attested by competent authorities, UAE embassy, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs 3- Marketing agreement between the real property owner and real estate brokerage firm, attested by competent authorities 11

12 4- Undertaking to refrain from marketing any incomplete project or selling any unit to more than 48 persons 5- Lease contract of the site of the stand Fees Monthly Fee of 1,020 Dirhams 12

13 Request for Permit to Install Real Estate Promotion Stand This service allows real estate companies to apply for issuing a permit for a stand to market and promote real property. 1- Filling the form available on the website ( 2- Copy of the Real Estate License 3- Copy of the marketing agreement with the real property owner, where the applicant is a real estate brokerage firm 4- Copy of the design of the stand indicating its size 5- Copy of the stand lease contract (the stand must be located in a shopping center) Marketing Real Property outside of the UAE: 1- Copy of the real property Title Deed 2- Marketing agreement between the real property owner and real estate brokerage firm 3- A letter from the real estate brokers indicating the type of real property (apartment, villa, building, completed or off-plan building etc) 4- Undertaking from the real estate brokers that they will not receive any amounts on behalf of the owner 5- Undertaking from the real estate brokers that they hold the full legal liability for the authenticity of the information provided 6- Documents issued outside of the UAE must be attested by a UAE 13

15 Request for Promotional Campaign Permit This service allows clients to apply to the Land Department for issuing permits to launch promotional campaigns during which facilities and cash/ in-kind prizes are provided through raffle draws or upon the purchase of real property. 1- Filling the form available on the website ( 2- Copy of the Commercial License 3- Copy of the marketing agreement with the real property owner, where the applicant is a real estate brokerage firm 4- Copy of the advertisement (at least 50% of the text of the advertisement must be in Arabic) 5- Undertaking by the applicant to give the announced prizes Fees 1,020 Dirhams 15

16 Request for Permit to Announce the Cancellation of Real Estate Unit This service allows real estate developers to apply to publish announcements in newspapers related to cancellation of real estate units for which the buyers fail to pay due installments. 1- Filling the form available on the website ( 2- Copy of the Commercial License 3- Copy of the cancellation notification from the Legal Affairs Center Fees 1,020 Dirhams 16

17 Open Day This service allows clients to apply for an open day permit. An open day is a day in which real property is offered for sale by owners under the supervision of a real estate firm by reserving a hall in a hotel, or through real estate brokers. 1- Filling the form available on the website ( 2- Copy of the Commercial License 3- Copy of the marketing agreement with the real property owner, where the applicant is a real estate brokerage firm 4- Letter from the hotel confirming the reservation of the hall Marketing Real Property outside of the UAE: 1- Copy of the real property Title Deed 2- Marketing agreement between the real property owner and real estate brokerage firm 3- A letter from the real estate brokers indicating the type of real property (apartment, villa, building, completed or off-plan building...etc) 4- Undertaking from the real estate brokers that they will not receive any amounts on behalf of the owner 5- Undertaking from the real estate brokers that they hold the full legal liability for the authenticity of the information provided 6- Documents issued outside of the UAE must be attested by a UAE embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and translated into Arabic by a legal translator 17

19 Newspaper Advertisements This service allows clients to apply for publishing newspaper advertisements. These are real estate one-page newspaper advertisements to market completed or off-plan real property or the real property outside the UAE. 1- Filling the form available on the website ( 2- Copy of the Commercial License 3- Copy of the marketing agreement with the real property owner, where the applicant is a real estate brokerage firm 4- Copy of the advertisement (at least 50% of the text of the advertisement must be in Arabic) Marketing Real Property outside of the UAE: 1- Copy of the real property Title Deed 2- Marketing agreement between the real property owner and real estate brokerage firm 3- A letter from the real estate brokers indicating the type of real property (apartment, villa, building, completed or off-plan building...etc) 4- Undertaking from the real estate brokers that they will not receive any amounts on behalf of the owner 5- Undertaking from the real estate brokers that they hold the full legal liability for the authenticity of the information provided 6- Documents issued outside of the UAE must be attested by a UAE embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and translated 19

23 Request for Permit to Organize Real Estate Symposium This service allows clients to apply for permits to organize real estate symposia. These are real estate symposia or conferences to provide information about certain real property inside or outside the UAE and explain all legal issues related to contracting. No sales or receipt of amounts may be allowed in the symposium. 1- Filling the form available on the website ( 2- Copy of the License 3- Marketing agreement between the real property owner and real estate brokerage firm 4- Title Deeds of the real property to be marketed 5- Letter from the hotel confirming the reservation of the hall 6- Copy of the presentation or materials to be displayed in the symposium Marketing Real Property outside of the UAE: 1- Copy of the real property Title Deed 2- Marketing agreement between the real property owner and real estate brokerage firm 3- A letter from the real estate brokers indicating the type of real property (apartment, villa, building, completed or off-plan building...etc) 4- Undertaking from the real estate brokers that they will not receive any amounts on behalf of the owner 5- Undertaking from the real estate brokers that they hold the full 23
