MAZZUCHELLI, HEALTH OFFICER FEES PAID TO USE THIS FACILITY ARE APPLIED TO THE EXPENSE OF THE RESIDENTIAL CURBSIDE RUBBISH/RECYCLING PICK-UP WHICH IS FUNDED BY YOUR TAX DOLLAR. YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND COOPERATION IN COMPLYING WITH OUR REGULATIONS AND FEE SCHEDULE ALONG WITH CONTINUED RECYCLING WILL ASSIST THE BOARD OF HEALTH IN CONTINUING RUBBISH/RECYCLING SERVICES WITHOUT THE USE OF SUPPLEMENTARY FEES SUCH AS BAG OR USER FEES. 2 TRANSFER STATION PROCEDURES The following procedures and fee schedule will take effect at the Milford Transfer Facility. The purchase of this permit will allow the individual to dispose of the following items with no additional disposal fee: grass, leaves, brush, motor oil (must be in clear containers) and up to 10 gallons of paint. The cost for this permit will be $20.00 per vehicle and $10.00 for each additional vehicle registered in the same family for residents of Milford. A fee of $30.00 per vehicle for nonresidents and a fee of $25.00 for non-residents that pay a Milford Property Tax.. Commercial vehicles and personal vehicles used in business may purchase a permit for a fee of $ Attached is a list of items that will be accepted at this facility with a disposal fee. Please note large awkward items such as oil tanks, swing sets, etc. must be cut up and dismantled. Cash will NOT be accepted at this facility. Checks must be used. See Attached Fee Schedule All other vehicles not mentioned in fee schedule will be viewed and assessed by the attendants. This facility is for "RESIDENTIAL WASTE ONLY". Items not accepted: No large auto parts such as car bodies, boat parts, etc... toxic waste, pathological wastes, animal carcasses, no rocks or boulders, cement, bricks, asphalt or tree stumps. No commercial or industrial waste. 5 S U R P L U S P A I N T P R O D U C T S COLLECTION Up to 10 gallons of household paint can be brought to the transfer facility for proper disposal anytime during transfer facility operation hours. Pre-Registration is not required. DROP-OFF PAINT SEASON: APRIL through NOVEMBER 15 th DROP-OFF PAINT FEE: Included in the cost of the transfer Facility Permit.
