This is a foreshadowing that Jesus would atone for our rebellion and sins on the cross to reconcile us back to God. Be sure to notice all the specifics. 3
6 Numbers 21:4-9 See Jesus As: The Bronze Serpent In Numbers 21:8, we see a symbol of death (serpent) turned into a source of life. This is a foreshadowing of the cross (symbol of death) that God would turn into our source of life. 4

21 Ecclesiastes 3:11 See Jesus As: The Eternity Our Heart Longs For In Ecclesiastes 3:11, Solomon wisely tells us that God has placed eternity into our hearts. This makes it clear why a relationship with Jesus is the only thing that can fulfill that longing in our hearts and shows us why God would have to send Jesus to the cross to make a way for us to be reconciled to a relationship with God. 19
