2 Case # 1: Apartment Building in Hokkaido, Japan [ North ] ThermBlock provides comfortable room temperature and saves energy bills in a winter land An apartment in Hokkaido, Japan, tested energy saving challenge by applying ThermBlock to one room and compared temperature with another room with no ThermBlock. 5 Case # 4: Applying ThermBlock to exterior and roof Repaint Exterior and Insulate Roof Apartment Building In the summer, ThermBlock insulation lowers air-conditioning settings by 5.4F for top floor residences. Newly built residential house ThermBlock assures higher than average indoor living comfort throughout the year by providing excellent thermal barrier. It is ideal material for all types of new buildings.

8 Case # 6: Applying on roof top of mass-transit vehicles Iwami-city, Shimane Prefecture [ North ] Iwami Kotsu (Transportation) in Shimane, Japan operates their bus services with Eco- Friendly attitude A local transportation service company tested an energy saving challenge by applying ThermBlock to the roofs of their vehicles. They confirmed that ThermBlock showed 18 degree F insulation effect inside the vehicle. 18 degree F insulation effect by ThermBlock allows : 1. Cut heating & cooling cost of inside vehicles 2. Cut unnecessary idling 3. Cut CO2 4. Better gas mileage

Gym Renaissance Sports Club Miyazaki Miyazaki Standing Seam Metal Roof 24,865ft ² Indoor Tennis Court Temperature Control Aug., 2005 In the summer, temperature for the upstairs tennis court could go over 95 degrees Fahrenheit, even operating 3 (12km) ACs. It was too hot to have any exercises Temperature went to around 86 degrees Fahrenheit with 2 ACs. Was able to accomplish the original goal to lower 5, but also able to cut back 1 AC and able to save energy cost significantly. 2. Factory Konica Minolata Oputo Kobe Factory ALC inner walls for the factory Condensation prevention for the walls Hyogo 24,865ft ² Nov., 2005 By operating a special production line in the factory, set the inside temperature to 64.4 degrees Fahrenheit with high humidity. Therefore, could easily generate condensation. Prevented condensation. Also, Copper door with ThermBlock stopped making loud noise and showed soundproof effect as well. 3. Factory Crane Operation inside Machine Factory Roof / Wall Condensation prevention for the walls Tokyo 17,222 ft ² Jul., 2005 Operating a crane (s) from the ceiling inside the factory. Vibration from the crane operation caused paint to peel off and crack. After applying ThermBlock for one year, not showing any paint peel or cracks, and providing excellent cool/warm conditions.

Factory T-Corporation, N-Factory Nagano Inside Outside Wall 19,375 ft ² Paint Peeling & Cracks Prevention Mar., 2006 Because of the unique regional climate, temperature often moves up and down, walls and roofs contract and caused paint cracks and peeling. ThermBlock s strong elasticity and adhesion have adjusted to the contract and have prevented any cracks and peeling of the paint. 5. Automotive Repair Factory Fine Up Auto Kanagawa Standing Seam Metal Roof 19,375 ft ² Heat Control Factory inside Jul., 2006 Because of the unique regional climate, temperature often moves up and down, walls and roofs contract and caused paint cracks and peeling. Comfortably able to work inside the facility in any summer days. 6. Warehouse E Corporation Warehouse Ibaragi 13,993 ft ² Heat & Cold Control for the Attic(2nd Floor) Sep., 2005 For the efficient use of the space, arranged its attic as a 2nd floor. However, the 2nd Floor was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. Set up AC & heating system, but did not see much difference. With AC & heating system, able to lower the temperature by 7.2~9.0 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer. In the winter, lower the setting of the AC & heating system temperature by 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit and still keep the room temperature higher by 9 degrees Fahrenheit.

Office Chisso MInamata manufacturer/office building (newly built) Kumamoto Standing Seam Metal Roof 34,445 ft ² Heat Control for the Attic Energy Saving May., 2006 Since it is a new building, no previous data is available. In hot days in Aug., no complaint from employees working inside the building without AC. 8. Facility / Office YA Manufacturer Ohita Standing Seam Metal Roof 5,597 ft ² Soundproof for Rain May., 2006 The area has a lot of squalls in the summer. During the squall season, could not hear phones by the sound of the rain from the roof. Do not get disturbed by the sound of the rain or wind, and able to work well. In the summer, no complaint from employees about summer heat and comfortably able to work. 9. Reefer containers chill well and able to maintain them with less stress. 11. Automobile Manufacture Factory Automobile Manufacture Factory Kanagawa ALC Wall for the Parts Storage 45,208 ft ² Aesthetic, Dust Prevention Oct., 2006 Because the storage of the track & bus parts were built by ALC walls, dust could easily stay on the walls and the inside of the storage was accumulating dust in the air. The dust caused a parts storage management issue. By applying the paint thin to the ALC walls, able to maintain the textures of the ALC but still able to prevent dust in the air. 12. Factory Chisso Minamata Manufacturer Kumamoto Standing Seam Metal Roof for the factory 21,528 ft ² AC---Energy Saving May., 2006 Showed results in providing comfortable room temperature by applying the ThermBlock to their newly built office last time. (See the example 7) Hoping to see a same result with their factory side. Showing a successful result by providing comfortable temperature and saving energy cost.

(See the example 2) Hoping to see a same result at other locations/walls Prevented generating condensation, including steel frames and steel doors where condensation often formed. 14. Residential Mr/Ms S Residential Tokyo Reinforced Concrete House 3,229 ft ² Heat Control for 2nd Floor May., 2007 On sunny days from May to October, 2nd floor gets too hot from the sun, even with AC Temperature went down and people are able to relax at 2nd floor without AC 15. Condominium Piaraimu M Gunma Rooftop 3,229 ft ² Heat & Cold Control---Air-Conditioning May., 2007 The top floor got too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter Able to Lower AC setting by 5.4 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer and winter.
