This is the beach at the southern mouth of Nambucca River. Remote, no facilities Beach fishing from spit and beach Estuary fishing in Warrell Creek Surfing for experienced board-riders Little Tern breeding colony Dangerous currents along this stretch of coastline THE GLEN, NAMBUCCA HEADS NOT PATROLLED This is a river beach close to the entrance of Nambucca River at the end of Wellington Drive. Swimming on the out-going tide at the river entrance V Wall area should not be contemplated due to the swift currents. 5 NORTH VALLA BEACH NOT PATROLLED From Valla Beach Road turn left into Henderson St then Cockburn Street to Bow Lowden Park to reach the northern end; or left into Buchanan St to access from the southern end short walk through public reserve to beach. Pristine horseshoe beach stretching north to Hungry Head Remote, quiet and uncrowded Perfect for beach walks 7km to Hungry Head (no beach access to South Valla Beach at high tide) Short bushwalks into Jagun Nature Reserve Beach fishing Conditions for experienced board riders, wind surfers, etc Basic BBQ and picnic area Borders nature reserve Lookouts whale and dolphin watching in season Close to holiday accommodation

6 SCOTTS HEAD Scotts Head Turn 3km South of Macksville For 12km Forster Beach Little Beach Wacki Beach Scotts Head 3km South of Macksville MAIN (FORSTER) BEACH, SCOTTS HEAD PATROLLED SUMMER WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS This north facing, crescent shaped beach is possibly the best family beach on the North Coast the gradual slope of the seabed allows even tiny tots to play in the surf Ramp access to beach The sand is squeaky clean perfect for building sandcastles World Champion surfers have learnt to ride the waves here The Point is a favourite spot for the malibu s, wave-skiers and beginners.
