The damage caused by UV exposure is not only visible on your face, but lurks under the skin s surface, making your complexion appear dull, sallow, uneven and aged. Much of this evidence of environmental aging is visibly reversible. We created the Rodan + Fields REVERSE Regimen as a simple, full-face solution that tackles the damage brought on by years of cumulative sun exposure. The REVERSE Regimen exfoliates dulling dead skin cells, visibly lightens unwanted pigmentation, brightens the overall complexion, and provides broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection, noticeably improving the appearance of environmentally-aged skin.

5 REVERSE Results With regular use, the REVERSE Regimen reveals a smoother, brighter, even-toned complexion; improvement is often seen with the first use. For some people, one cycle of the REVERSE Regimen is sufficient to restore the brightness of their skin. For significant hyperpigmentation, it may take two to six months before maximum evenness of skin color is achieved. 6 The 4-Product REVERSE Regimen 1 REVERSE Deep Exfoliating Wash Cleanses and refines sun-damaged, blotchy complexions. Alphahydroxy acids loosen dead skin cells at the surface and polyethylene beads sweep them away. The skin is instantly brighter and prepared for the steps that follow. 2 REVERSE Skin Lightening Toner Offers the time-proven and dermatologist-preferred benefits of 2% hydroquinone in a fast-acting liquid vehicle. This proprietary combination of hydroquinone, kojic acid and antioxidants visibly brightens skin and lightens dark spots. 3 REVERSE Skin Lightening Treatment Offers a second layer of 2% hydroquinone to optimize lightening of the skin. Retinol and vitamin C enhance the brightening process. 7 Getting Started Begin the REVERSE Regimen slowly in order to let skin acclimate. The REVERSE Regimen is introduced slowly, so during the first three weeks, use a gentle cleanser, toner, moisturizer and sunscreen when not using the regimen. If dryness occurs, use a moisturizer after applying REVERSE Skin Lightening Treatment. We recommend REDEFINE Overnight Restorative Cream. If redness and/or irritation occur, take a break from the regimen for 2-3 days. During this time, we recommend using our SOOTHE Regimen to reduce visible irritation on your skin. If no improvement is seen after three months of treatment, use of this product should be discontinued. SUPPLEMENT YOUR REGIMEN To even and perfect your complexion, try ENHANCEMENTS Mineral Peptides with broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen. Clean face of makeup prior to using REVERSE Deep Exfoliating Wash as this step is meant to help clean the face but is not a heavy makeup remover. We suggest using REDEFINE Eye Cloths to remove all makeup and then following with REVERSE Deep Exfoliating Wash as directed. To maximize controlled exfoliation and boost results, use ENHANCEMENTS Micro-Dermabrasion Paste 1-3 times per week in place of REVERSE Deep Exfoliating Wash. To minimize the appearance of crow sfeet, dark circles and puffiness, try REDEFINE Multi-Function Eye Cream.

8 DOCTORS TIPS Always wear a broad spectrum UVA/ UVB sunscreen and do not sunbathe. A single day of unprotected sun exposure can virtually undo months of REVERSE Regimen use. Use the REVERSE Regimen until your skin appears bright and even toned, usually two to six months, then transition to the REDEFINE Regimen. Hydroquinone can stain fingernails so use ESSENTIALS Gauze to apply toner and wash hands after use. Use the REVERSE Regimen to treat the décolleté, neck, hands and other parts of the body prone to showing signs of sun damage. Note that the neck and chest are usually more sensitive. Be gentle with REVERSE Deep Exfoliating Wash and use the regimen less frequently if necessary. If your skin is sensitive, first use the SOOTHE Regimen for at least 30 days prior to transitioning as tolerated to the REVERSE Regimen. Frequently Asked Questions Do I need to use all of the steps in the REVERSE Regimen to get results? Yes, each step of the REVERSE Regimen builds upon the previous step to address every aspect of dull, visibly uneven skin tone and areas of dark pigmentation. Used in combination, the formulations provide exfoliation, skin lightening, skin brightening and broad spectrum sun protection. Skipping any step could hinder achieving maximum results. Why use the REVERSE Regimen over my entire face? We developed the REVERSE Regimen as a full-face solution because what you see on the surface is not the full story. In fact, visible brown spots on the skin s surface indicate more below. Using pigmentation-lightening products over the entire face helps to avoid the appearance of a halo effect (white rings around dark spots) resulting from only applying the products on the spots that you see. For best results, these products should be used over the entire face. Can the REVERSE Regimen be used on all skin types and ethnicities? Yes. REVERSE is safe for use on all skin tones. It contains 2% hydroquinone, which only lightens discolorations, allowing the natural skin tone to be revealed. Products in the REVERSE Regimen are oil-free and are formulated not to clog pores excellent for acne-prone skin as it visibly lightens post acne dark marks.
