1 Registration Procedures 1) Submit an to after completing the attached registration form with all necessary information that follows in this packet. Please feel free to contact us at that with any questions or concerns about the registration process. 2) Submit a 2-4 minute video of your team 75% of the dancers your team wishes to include on their roster at Las Vegas All Stars must be in the video Preference is a prior performance during the season Videos must be submitted via through private, unlisted YouTube links Preference will be given if you have placed at a competition this season Teams that are planning to use a segment involving any props (e.g. saaps, khunde, etc.) in their audition video MUST record the video using the actual prop. Airdancing/faking the props will NOT be accepted. 3) In addition, please send us 1 team photo featuring all members of the team that will be performing at Las Vegas All Stars on May 2, We only allow the use of electronic submission so that we can expedite the registration process and do our part in saving the environment by cutting down on the use of paper. 2 Rules and Regulations The team captain must read this page, fill in his or her name(s), and submit the edited contract along with the rest of the registration packet by the application deadline (February 15, 2015). I will not institute any suit or action of law against the Las Vegas Mela or any Affiliated Organization, nor institute, prosecute or in any way aid the prosecution of any claim, demand, action, or cause of action for damages, costs, loss of service, expenses or compensation for or on account of any and all known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen bodily and personal injuries, damage to property, and the consequences thereof, resulting from my participation in Las Vegas All Stars competition. II. III. IV. I understand that in the event that a lawsuit is instated, the lawsuit will be settled in the state of Nevada, subject to arbitration. I hereby agree to abide by and obey all the rules and regulations of Las Vegas All Stars competition, as stated below. I accept the responsibility of the actions of my team members while at the official hotel, during rehearsal, during the show, and other activities associated with the competition weekend. V. I confirm the team members listed on the registration sheet are the same members that will be participating in the show. If any of the members withdraw from the competition, or new ones are added, I will send the updated roster to allstarslasvegas@gmail.com in a timely manner. VI. VII. As the team captain, I will ensure that all members of my team will adhere to the guidelines, deadlines, and rules and regulations for the Las Vegas All Stars competition. I understand that if at any time during the competition, be it before, during, or immediately after the show, a team member violates any rules or regulations, that member will be asked to leave immediately, regardless of whether or not he or she has performed. VIII. I understand that the Las Vegas All Stars organizers have the right to deduct points from my team s score, disqualify my team, or revoke prizes if the rules and regulations are not adhered to. IX. A minimum of four (4) and no more than sixteen (16) people may perform on a team. This includes any dholi, singers, etc. A person may only dance for one team. All members listed on the roster as performers must be a part of the performance at some point.

3 X. It division will be judged separately XI. XII. Only one assistant/manager will be allowed per team. Please include this name on the registration form under the slot (M) if you would like to bring a manager with your team. Dances may NOT be longer than 12 minutes. There will be no exceptions to this rule, so please do not ask for extensions. XIII. No there will no use of Video During the Performance XIV. Oversized props will be permitted on stage, as long as they do not require more than 2 minutes to set-up. If a team spends more than 2 minutes setting up, points will be heavily deducted from the overall score for delay of show. XV. Glitter, confetti, powder or any other items that will require clean up are strictly prohibited. Any team that uses any such materials may face heavy point deductions or disqualification. XVI. Each team MUST submit a list of props as part of this registration form. Nach Ke Dikha will review the list of props and send approval to teams soon after the registration packet is received. There is no guarantee that your prop will be permitted on-stage, so you MUST get prior approval. XVII. This is an outdoor venue, with your performance likely taking place when there is sunlight, therefore blackouts will not be possible There will be no curtains on the sides of the stage, as it is an amphitheater, people will be seated on all 3 sides of the stage, judges will be facing front center XVIII. Stage Dimensions are as follows: XIX. The consumption of alcohol or any illegal substance is prohibited within the vicinity of the auditorium. There will be a zero tolerance policy in this regard.

4 Prizes First Place Grand Prize: $1,500 in each category Travel Accommodations Las Vegas All Star will provide the following accommodations: Hotel Rooms: 4 per occupancy on Las Vegas Strip/Downtown Property for Friday and Saturday Evening Transportation: We will be providing Bus Transportation for all Las Vegas All Stars Events, including Technical Rehearsal (Friday), Social Mixer (Friday), and Competition (Saturday) Food: Friday: Dinner will be provided at Mixer Saturday: Lunch will be provided at Hotel Dinner, each team member will receive coupons to purchase food at the Mela Final Check List Please check and make sure all of these items are included in your registration packet: Registration Packet completed in its entirety and sent to allstarslasvegas@gmail.com 2-4 minute video including 1 picture of the team to be used online and in the program Acknowledgement of Rules and Regulations by the team captain within the registration packet Las Vegas All Stars reserves the right to make any changes necessary.
