1 Stang Remote Control Monitors Stang Remote Control Monitors (RCM) are used to flow large volumes of water which are controlled from a remote location. These monitors can be applied almost anywhere and can be operated by anyone from a remote location. ranges vary for horizontal and vertical for flexibility and smooth control. Monitors can be stand alone or part of a monitor network with multiple units operated at once from a singular control panel

2 ELECTRIC SYSTEMS HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS Features & Benefits Stang Remote Control Monitors (RCM) are used to flow large volumes of water and can be controlled from a remote location on land or at sea. Remote monitors are used when the installation is in a risk area or the operator cannot access the equipment. These monitors typically have a fixed control panel in a strategic area that allows for safe operation. Monitors can be stand alone or part of a monitor network with multiple units controlled from one control panel. Remote Control Monitors require a method to accomplish control from a location away from the monitor. This holds true for either electric monitors or hydraulic. The operator interface is either a master control panel, local control panel, wireless transmitter or integrated into a plant I&E system. Stang has the experience to work with any type of control scheme that may be required. We can even tie into remote site control (SCADA). Where electricity may pose a hazard due to environment or accessibility issues hydraulic powered units become the optimum power source for remote system operations. Stang s hydraulic power units are highly engineered to supply efficient remote location power without the need for electrical power. No electrical power source is required for the normal operation of this equipment. Available with various inlet options this unit can be mounted just about anywhere. This unit may be supplied with a control module that has a joystick and control for a optional fog nozzle. [See Below] Motor Wiring horizontal rotation axis. The rotation comes from either two 12 or 24 VDC motors. There are 4 proximity switches that limit the angular travel and are preset by the factory. Proximity switches can be relocated by the customer. The maximum movement of the monitor can be adjusted by moving the stops or proximity switch (dependent on model) on both rotation and elevation. The monitor should be rotated carefully through its arcs with the monitor at its maximum and minimum positions, to check that the monitor does not impact with itself or with any part of the superstructure and that no part of the ship can be struck by the water jet.
