5 Mobile App for an Indoor Navigation Provider Customer Leading indoor positioning service provider in US Scope Product development and testing of Android based Indoor navigation app for shoppers and enterprise users. scope includes functional testing, user experience testing, location based testing, Integration testing, performance testing and field testing of the application. Solution Navigation across floors that provides auto switching of floors as user moves across floors. Deals and offers from the store being displayed to the user as they navigate inside a mall. The application also ties to an external android powered meta-watch to send visual cues and deals on the watch. Enterprise application allows indoor tracking of workforce. Features include locating employee, breadcrumbs of employee movement, managing and monitoring geo fences, reporting employee behavior and sending alerts to supervisor. Casestudy Catalyzing Innovation Business Impact Sasken team enabled the navigation using the latitude, longitude and altitude information provided by the service provider and integration of Micello indoor maps.

The testing scope for the assignment included functional testing, performance testing and UX validation. Solution Performance testing on cross platform Mobile UX validation and testing for ease of use and productivity of inventory management operations on multiple platforms Functional Test coverage of 13 inventory management and fulfillment workflows on multiple rugged devices and ios devices with different sleeves Business Impact The partners were enabled with the mobility solution on time without any business slippage

7 Test Automation for Leading Navigation and Telematics Organization Customer Leading provider of enterprise level platform solutions for GPS tracking and Telematics in US Scope Prepare Test code, Test script development and maintenance of the scripts in Test Driven Development approach End-to-end system integration testing for multiple product releases on desktop and web based applications under Agile delivery model Application was dynamic in nature and customer was encountering issues with existing automated scripts with static code, regular reworks and script execution time, random use of delay, non-optimized scripts. Solution Casestudy Catalyzing Innovation Ramped up on Robot Framework and Groovy scripting and approached the best feature of the framework to keep the scripts dynamic in nature which in turn reduces the rework Scripts structured in a modular way that reduces script maintenance time with the changes of the application A solid track review mechanism was enabled for the scripts Team was also involved in enhancement and maintenance of the existing automation framework Business Impact The optimized and fine tuned code reduced the execution time and increased productivity. One script manifest helped customer in considering the same set of scripts across browsers with the dynamic nature of the application which reduced the maintained effort significantly.
