2 R E A C H C O N F E R E N C E M A Y , M E C L A S T R A I N I N G, M A Y 1 8, REACH Conference 2016 is organized for the ninth time combining lecturers and participants from different sectors of industry, authorities, academia and other stakeholders. Now we are in the full speed of REACH legislation (10 years on) requiring attention of many companies including SMEs which will need to allocate expertise and time = investment for compliance. REACH registration 2018 deadline will be a challenge especially for SMEs. Subsequent duties for downstream users in the supply chain are under implementation. Exposure scenarios and e-sdss are more and more frequent and creating new tasks for all of involved. Also authorisation process is on the place the Candidate list now containing a total of 168 chemicals and the Authorisation list contains 31 unique substances/entries. First decisions for Annex XIV chemicals were already published by EC. Further restrictions are applied by revision of Annex XVII. Overlaps with other legislative sectors is under evluation. Experiences, difficulties as well as good practices will be discussed during the REACH Conference We especially focus on REACH and CLP implementation in Small and Medium Enterprices (SMEs). Language of the Conference is English. To allow SMEs to have direct possibility to understand and communicate during the REACH Conference, simultaneous translation will be provided from English to Czech + Polish and Hungarian languages (in case of adequate audience). During the Conference the most important topics will be discussed: REACH 2018 REGISTRATION Authorisation REACH & Articles REACH vs other sectors SDS / E-SDS and Exposure Scenarios Downstream Users Duties & Communication Enforcement Tools and Solutions MeClas Training 18th of May 2016 will take place free of charge (for the REACH Conference attendees) registered also for MeClas training. Specific registration for this training only is also possible but will be matter of fee. MeClas is a tool available free of charge for classification of metal mixtures, alloys under CLP and GHS. The REACH Conference in year 2016 will include a session focused on REACH enforcement and a block of practical presentations in the area of automotive industry, chemicals distributors and downstream users and tools for REACH and CLP compliance...results of Exchange Network on Exposure Scenarios (ENES) meeting...
