The programmer can perform the export and import wirelessly via the radio interface or the programming cable. 6.2 Export to actuators In an export the programmer writes the configuration data to the actuators. Note: For the export the configuration data for the key plans should first be transferred from the software to the programmer. The configuration data should be selected from a list in the programmer and exported to an actuator. Kaba programmer 1460 k1evo801en

26 Programming 1. Press the Export menu key. 2. Log in to the actuator using the programming master. 3. Select the key plan and press ENTER to confirm. 4. Confirm with Next. 6.3 Importing from actuators In an import the programmer reads the configuration data from the actuators. There is a choice between 3 different data types in the Import menu. Info: this menu allows the status data to be read from the actuator (actuator type, locking system, battery status, date/time, firmware, serial number). Traceback: only the information from traceback is imported. Configuration: all the configuration data is imported (without traceback data). 26 k1evo801en Operating instructions

35 Glossary 9 Glossary Battery A battery is a device that stores electrical energy. Actuators Actuators are mechatronic components installed in doors or door frames and opened by authorised media. Logging in Logging in is authorising a programming master to modify settings on actuators. Firmware update A firmware update is the updating of the software on the actuators. Kaba evolo manager Kaba evolo manager is software for configuring and managing different types of actuators in one or more locking system. Configuring Configuring refers to the changing of settings in the actuators. Charge status Charge status is an indicator of the amount of charge remaining in a battery at any given time. NFC NFC stands for Near Field Communication. This is a transfer protocol for the contactless transfer of data over short distances. Programming master Programming masters are media with a high level of authorisation. They are used for programming lower-level user media and configuring actuator settings. Programming Programming is what the programmer does when it stores configurations to the actuators. Standalone The term standalone is used for any actuator that is installed independently in a door or door frame; they can, however, equally be combined to form a locking system and operated within a management system. Traceback A traceback is an events log of all connections, transferred authorisations, access attempts and successful accesses. Mechatronic components Mechatronic components are actuators (see Actuators). Kaba programmer 1460 k1evo801en
