1 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship of New Jersey New Jersey Motorsports Park, Millville, NJ Sept 11 th -13 th, 2015 Event and Circuit Information September 11 th -13 th, 2015, MotoAmerica Superbike Championship of New Jersey, round 9 of the MotoAmerica Superbike Championship; featuring Superbike, Superstock 1000, Supersport, Bazzaz Superstock 600, and KTM RC Cup competitors. Course Information: Course length is 2.2 miles, pole position on the rider s left. Superbike/Superstock 1000 races will be 25 (55 miles) laps in length, Supersport races will be 23 (50.6 miles) laps in length. Bazzaz Superstock 600 races will be 19 (41.8 miles) Laps in length. KTM RC Cup races will be 13 (28.6 miles) laps in length. Tire stickers must be affixed to the rider s right. SHIPMENTS: Teams that have shipments sent to the race facility should make sure that the packages are clearly marked with the address below. Packages should be picked up at the main gate. Handling fees to be paid to NJMP are as follows: $5, single package of any size that fits in the shipping pod located at Reg. $10, multiple packages to same team fitting in the shipping pod at Reg. $20, any package that must be stored in the Shade Tree garages, i.e. engines, large tire shipments, palates, etc. Team Name Individual Name and Cell Phone Number New Jersey Motorsports Park 47 Warbird Dr Millville, NJ, Registration, Licenses and Credentials: All credential holders must be members of the American Motorcyclist Association and hold a valid 2015 MotoAmerica credential. The credential must be displayed with the issued lanyard to be valid. Entries and rider licences will not be processed at the track. Riders must have submitted their entry and license prior to the registration deadline of Sept 1 st, Season and Single event credentials may be submitted at the track, but will be subject to a $25 fee. All crew and entrants who have submitted a request for licenses, crew credentials and guest passes before Sept 1 st, 2015 may pick them up beginning at 1200 on Thursday Sept 10 th at the white administration building to the right before the security checkpoint. 2 Rules and Regulations: At all times, all credential holders are subject to MotoAmerica and AMA regulations including, Technical Regulations, Sporting Regulations, all competitor bulletins and the 2015 MotoAmerica Teams handbook. It is the entrant s responsibility to ensure all crew, riders, and guests comply with these regulations located here: Paddock Regulations: Move in is at 1000 on September 10 th, 2015 for Season entrants. Single event move in is at Vehicles may stage beginning Wednesday at the Lightning Paddock Vehicles not essential to support or hospitality will not be permitted to remain in the paddock area. Vehicles may enter paddock on Thursday for immediate drop off of supplies, and before 8 am and after 5 pm on Friday - Sunday. All teams must supply water barrels or concrete to tie down awnings and structures, no stakes may be used to tie down structures. Teams will be liable to damage to the paddock from stakes or structures tied down inappropriately. All teams must vacate the paddock by 7pm on Sunday. RV and Motorhome Parking: ALL RVs and toter homes used for overnight camping inside the Thunderbolt paddock will be charged $ If such vehicles will be used for overnight camping, NJMP strongly recommends that teams purchase the required camping permit in advance by contacting the NJMP Ticket Office, PLEASE make arrangement in advance as failing to do so will delay entrance for all such vehicles. Camping will also be available for purchase upon arrival. Go to Window 1 in the registration building to purchase camping permits. This must happen before the vehicle will be allowed into Thunderbolt paddock. There are a limited number of 50 amp, 220 volt outlets. Garages: Garages are limited but will be made available to teams in order of Premier, Season, and ranked by championship points. Garages are priced at $250 per bay, please note the event garages have two bays per door. Teams should contact Randy Stem, rstem@motoamerica.com for garage requests. Golf Carts and scooters: Golf Carts may only be used on setting up of team s day and tear down. Golf carts may not be used at any other time except for delivery hours. Contact NJMP Registration at Scooters must be parked within the teams paddock footprint or at the designated parking area and must display a 2015 MotoAmerica Scooter pass. 3 Transponders: The Team acknowledges and agrees to purchase a transponder, exclusively of the model/type indicated by MotoAmerica in the Teams Handbook, to be used for the Automatic Time Keeping during the entire Championship season. Truck Wash: Contact Joe Lagrossa, Tech Inspection: To reduce wait time and provide efficient technical inspection for all motorcycles, MotoAmerica will have times for each class to proceed through technical inspection listed in the schedule. Tech will be at the tent next to the series transporter. Initial technical inspection for all classes is on Thursday September 10 th. Competitors will not pass technical inspection if they do not have a working, assigned transponder, or if they have any outstanding paperwork due. The transponder used to pass technical inspection must be the transponder used throughout the weekend. Failing to notify MotoAmerica staff of a transponder change may result in loss of lap times while using the unapproved transponder. Sunoco RMR Fuel: Sunoco RMR is the spec fuel for all MotoAmerica competition. It is highly recommended that you pre order to ensure availability. Teams should contact Bruce from Insinger Performance at Fuel will be available Thursday from 1pm-4pm, Friday and Saturday from 7am-4pm and Sunday from 7am-12pm. Refuelling must take place outside of an enclosed area, with the engine off, motorcycle on stands, rider dismounted, all electrical appliances on or around the motorcycle switched off, and with a trained crew member holding a fire extinguisher at the ready (PIN REMOVED). All refuelling should be done outside of the garages or team canopies. Refuelling in a well ventilated area should help eliminate vapor build up. Fuel cannot be stored within garages. All components of the fueling procedure need to be grounded the entire time. This includes the fuel source, the refueling personnel and the machine. The more positive the grounding method, the better. All fuel jugs being filled from a large drum should be placed on the ground before and during filling. Supply drums should be on the ground as well, not in the transporter or bed of a pickup truck. When removing the funnel or pump from the fuel container keep it physically in contact with the container while the last of the fuel drains out. 15/08/ :30 3 P a g e

4 NJMP Fuelling Regulations: NJMP PADDOCK Refuelling Regulation: Crew members handling fuel must wear full length long pants, eye protection and a fire rated helmet or Balaclava. A Fire resistant suit is recommended. NJMP PIT LANE Refuelling Regulation: Use of shorts in pit lane is approved except for members handling fuel. Safety infractions could result in sporting penalties Radio Frequency: The MotoAmerica race control radio channel for 2015 events is MHz (12.5 KHz, CSQ Squelch, Receive only) Teams must have one crew member monitor this listen only channel during all on track events. Each team must possess a radio or scanner. Racing Radios will provide a 15% discount to all MotoAmerica competitors. Contact Tony at , or by tony.conacchia@deirr.com Timing and Scoring Screens: MotoAmerica is providing a wireless intranet for competitors to access timing and scoring screens. Do not distribute the log in information to fans or guests as increased users may cause the system to slow or stop functioning. Additionally timing screens on the hot pit wall using coaxial cable connection and network cable will be limited. Teams must provide their own hardware to connect to the timing and scoring feed over coax or network cable. A local access app and webpage will be available, Log in instructions will be provided at the riders meeting. Network Name: MotoAmerica Hot Pits Password: NJMP4MotoAmerica Dunlop Paddock Autograph Signings: Premier and Season teams are strongly encouraged to post signing times on Saturday between 11:45 and 12:45 for fans to engage their riders at their transporters. Dunlop Fan Walk: Premier teams, Season Entrants and any other team as determined by MotoAmerica may be required to participate in a fan hot pit walk and/or autograph sessions from 10:15-11:00 on Sunday Sept 13 th. Teams who participate in the Fan Walk must maintain a professional and tidy appearance of all paddock and hot pit areas and comply with MotoAmerica competitor bulletin /08/ :30 4 P a g e
