1 Rules and Regulations: MotoAmerica AMA/FIM Superbike Championship of Atlanta Road Atlanta, Brasselton, GA April 17 th -19 th, 2015 At all times, all credential holders are subject to MotoAmerica and AMA regulations including, Technical Regulations, Sporting Regulations, all competitor bulletins and the 2015 MotoAmerica Teams handbook. It is the entrant s responsibility to ensure all crew, riders, and guests comply with these regulations located here: Event and Circuit Information April17-19, 2015, MotoAmerica AMA/FIM Superbike Championship of Atlanta, Round 1 of the MotoAmerica Superbike Championship; featuring Superbike, Superstock 1000, Supersport, and Superstock 600 competitors. Packages should be picked up at the shipping/receiving garages in the support paddock, Thurs-Sun 7am-7pm. 2 Course Information: Course length is 2.54 miles, pole position on the rider s left. Superbike/Superstock 1000 races will be 22 (55 miles) laps in length, and Supersport race will be 20 (51 miles) laps in length. Superstock 600 race will be 16 (40 miles) laps in length. Tire stickers must be affixed to the rider s right. Timing Map:

4 Registration, Licenses and Credentials: All credential holders must be members of the American Motorcyclist Association and hold a valid 2015 MotoAmerica credential. The credential must be displayed with the issued lanyard to be valid. Entries and rider licences will not be processed at the track. Riders must have submitted their entry and license prior to the registration deadline of April 7 th Season and Single event credentials may be submitted at the track, but will be subject to a $25 fee. To avoid this fee, follow the instructions in Competitor Bulletin and add crew members to your rider s entry and upload a photo of crew members head and shoulders on a light background. Registration will begin at 1300 on Thursday April 16 th at the registration building to the right of Gate 1. Paddock Regulations: Move in is at 1000 on April 16 th, 2015 for Season entrants. Single event move in is at Vehicles may stage beginning at 0600 by the ticketing booths. Vehicles not essential to support or hospitality will not be permitted to remain in the paddock area. Vehicles may enter paddock on Thursday for immediate drop off of supplies, and before 8 am and after 5 pm on Friday- Sunday. No garages are available at Road Atlanta. All teams must supply water barrels or concrete to tie down awnings and structures, no stakes may be used to tie down structures. Teams will be liable to damage to the paddock from stakes or structures tied down inappropriately. Disposal: Road Atlanta has waste disposal located in the back center of the paddock. Participants are required to make use of these for all waste materials. All spills must be treated immediately and Road Atlanta management must be advised of all spills. No batteries or tires are to be left on Road Atlanta property. Golf Carts and scooters: Golf Carts may only be used on setting up of team s day and tear down. Golf carts may not be used at any other time. Scooters must be parked within the teams paddock footprint or at the designated parking area and must display a 2015 Road America MotoAmerica Scooter pass. The pass may be purchased at registration for $50. Refer to the Teams Handbook for scooter restrictions. Parking for Personal Vehicles: P1 Parking will be located in the team parking area. RV and Motorhome Parking: RV and Motorhome parking for competitors is available in the team motorhome area. Teams must contact rstem@motoamerica.com for arrangements.
5 Transponders: The Team acknowledges and agrees to purchase a transponder, exclusively of the model/type indicated by MOTOAMERICA, to be used for the Automatic Time Keeping during the entire Championship season. The MOTOAMERICA Official Timing is already equipped with the last X2 technology, they are able so to detect both old (TranX) and new (X2) transponders. Tech for Road Atlanta will be at the tent in front of the MotoAmerica transporter in the main paddock. Initial technical inspection for all classes is on Thursday April 16th. Superbike: Superstock 1000: Supersport: Superstock 600:
7 Track Familiarization: Track familiarization will be from on April 16 th. Riders may use scooters with current 2015 MotoAmerica scooter pass, or bicycles. Hot Pit Assignments: Hot pit assignments will be made by MotoAmerica with Premier and Season entrants pitted first, further assignments will be based on points for the season. Refer to the 2015 MotoAmerica Teams Handbook for further pit lane requirements. Sunoco RMR Fuel: Sunoco RMR is the spec fuel for all MotoAmerica competition. Fuel must be stored in original metal containers, it may be transferred to the bike using plastic containers. Teams may pre order fuel by contacting Jim Cook , or by It is highly recommended that you pre order to ensure availability. Fuel will be available next to the MotoAmerica transporter on Friday April 17th from Refuelling must take place outside of an enclosed area, with the engine off, motorcycle on stands, rider dismounted, all electrical appliances on or around the motorcycle switched off, and with a trained crew member holding a fire extinguisher at the ready. Radio Frequency: The MotoAmerica race control radio channel for Road Atlanta and remaining 2015 events is MHz (12.5 KHz, CSQ Squelch, Receive only) Teams must have one crew member monitor this listen only channel during all on track events. Each team must possess a radio or scanner, and must bring an example to tech inspection before on track activity begins. Tony Cornacchia from Racing Radios will be available to reprogram your radios to the new frequency. Racing Radios will provide a 15% discount to all MotoAmerica competitors. Contact Tony at , or by tony.conacchia@deirr.com Timing and Scoring Screens: MotoAmerica is providing a wireless intranet for competitors to access timing and scoring screens. Do not distribute the log in information to fans or guests as increased users may cause the system to slow or stop functioning. Please use the following settings to access WIFI and go to url: li.ve using chrome, Firefox, or safari. This network will be available at the hot pit area. Additionally timing screens will be available on the hot pit wall using coaxial cable connection and Raspberry Pi connection. It is recommended to bring a wireless mouse to connect to the Raspberry Pi and take advantage of the customization of screens. Teams must provide their own hardware to connect to the timing and scoring feed over coax or by HDMI to the Raspberry Pi.
8 Network Name: MotoAmerica Hot Pits Password: Pit Lane Speed Limit: A speed limit of 60 km/h (approximately 37 mph) will be enforced in the pit lane at all times during the event. Riders must respect the speed limit from where the sign 60 km/h is placed up to where the sign 60 Km/h crossed out is placed. Any rider found to have exceeded the limit during the practice will be subject to a fine of 150 USD. Any rider who exceeds the pit lane speed limit during a race will be penalized with a ride through. As pit speed is monitored by loops embedded in the track surface, no display of speed will be available. Dunlop Fan Walk: Premier teams, Season Entrants and any other team as determined by MotoAmerica may be required to participate in a fan hot pit walk and/or autograph sessions. Teams are also encouraged to apply to participate in these sessions by ing registration@motoamerica.com Teams who participate should provide a minimum of 100 posters for each Rider for each event and shall cause each of their Riders to autograph and distribute such posters to the fans from 10:15-11:00 on April 19th. Teams who participate in the Fan Walk must maintain a professional and tidy appearance of all paddock and hot pit areas and comply with MotoAmerica competitor bulletin Infield Rules: * No Firearms or Weapons. * No Pets * Do Not Use The Fences As Stakes For * No Fireworks. Tents. * No Scaffolding Over 6 Feet High. * NO Camp Fires Permitted. * All Unlicensed Vehicles Must Be * For Your Safety, No Glass Containers Registered. Allowed. * Speed Limit For All Vehicles Is 10 MPH. * Grills or Cook Stoves in Camping Area Only. * Quiet Hours - Midnight to 7:00am (County Ordinance) * Place All Trash In Trash Cans or Bags. * Never Cut Down Trees or Cut Limbs. * Always Leave Room For Spectators * No Off Road Riding. (Between Campsite and Fences) * State of Georgia and Hall County law PROHIBITS alcohol from being brought onto our facility. * State law requires a helmet must be worn in the State of Georgia. This includes Road Atlanta.
9 MotoAmerica Transporter Convoy: All transporters will are encouraged to meet Wednesday afternoon April 15 th at 12:00pm at one of the locations listed below. From one of these locations they will then leave at approx. 2:00pm to start the trip to Road Atlanta. They must travel the perimeter (I-285) due to Georgia traffic laws stating Most trucks are not allowed to be inside the perimeter unless they have a special permit showing they are making a delivery or pickup. This convoy will take approx. 2 hours travel time from either location. They will arrive at approx. 4:00pm and park outside of Road Atlanta until Thursday morning entrance is allowed. Both of these locations have adequate space for all transporters to join up and leave together. Traveling from Interstate 20 transporters will meet at: Pilot Travel Center 625 Carrollton St Temple, GA From there they will Parade on I-20 East to the I-285 perimeter North then to I-85 onto Braselton. Traveling from Interstate 10 transporters will meet at: Pilot Travel Center 1645 S Hwy 29 Newnan, GA From there they will parade up I-85 north around Atlanta via I-285 North continuing onto I-85/Braselton. Track Cuts and Running off the Track: Riders who run off track in turn 12 shall proceed through the access road to the old hot pit and blend onto the racetrack staying to the left of the cones.
